First of all, this pillow is not a cube. It should be called “pillow rectangle” or “pillow slab.” So if you’re buying this expecting a comically tall pillow, you might be surprised. Even though they recommended the 5” pillow based on your height, I would strongly suggest getting the 6” one no matter your height (they’re the same price!) The thing I like about this pillow is that it doesn’t move or compress while you sleep, so you don’t have to keep flipping it over or readjusting it in the middle of the night. I was skeptical to see all the good reviews. I'm a CPAP user and side sleeper. I've tried other specialty types of pillows over the years. Other pillows made for neck pain relief, but they never really helped. So I thought I'd try one more pillow. I am 6'1" 280lbs and bought the 5" PillowCube. I've now had it exactly a month, and I no longer wake up with a stiff neck or a neck with pain. I also don't wake up at night anymore trying to reposition myself. I thought maybe it wouldn't work, since it is not heavy and dense like some other memory foam pillows. The PillowCube is much softer. I am a side sleeper and my neck would always hurt when I slept. This pillow is so comfortable, I would never buy a different kind!! The customer service is soooo good also😊 Amazon accidentally sent me the smaller square pillow and I emailed the company right away. They called me right away and just asked me to snap a pic of the one I got and they would send me the correct one and they did and they let me keep the small one for my troubles! I always had shoulder, back, or neck pain (sometimes all three) when I wake up. Now that I am doing martial arts it started to get in the way of my training and I got sick of living like this. I've used Purple, Colombia, Temper-pedic, you name it. I finally pulled the trigger on Pillow cube because I'd had given up on the more popular brands that just seem to be garbage. The very first morning after using this pillow the pain was gone. The second night I woke up refreshed and I slept longer then normal. I'm laying down and about to sleep for my third night on this pillow and I'm so comfortable and relieved I won't wake up with pain and I can train without worry. Was having issues with waking up at night due to uncomfortable sleeping positions and sometime obstructed breathing. Got the pro size (5 inch) and it has been a game changer: no snoring (so says my wife), better sleep, and more time asleep while in bed. Pillow is very comfortable and supportive, even when I do end up on my back. I’ve had my eye on this pillow for awhile, but kept talking myself out of it because of the high price tag. After waking up with a headache 4 days in a row, I finally decided to order it. Worth. Every. Penny. It’s firm and doesn’t squish too much when you lay on it, but is still soft enough so it doesn’t crush your ear. It also doesn’t scrunch up around your nose and mouth so you have to tip your head up or down to breathe like with many other pillows. As soon as I laid down, my neck felt comfortable and relaxed, and that continued through the night. I can feel that my neck is more supported at the back and at my shoulder than with my old pillow. No weird smell. And no headache this morning!! I have some neck issues and get headaches easily is I have any kind of neck or shoulder tension. I’m 5”6’, but I bought the extra large because I sleep on a very firm mattress and I tend to like my pillows on the higher side. I've waited several weeks before giving this review. I'm a side sleeper and like to have a firm pillow. I bought a panda bamboo pillow and have used that for years but it bunches up and loses it's shape and it was starting to give me a neck ache. I finally took the plunge and purchased the 5" Pillow Cube Side Sleeper Pro. When it arrived it was folded and kind of flat, the instructions said to wait and let it fill out and after a couple of hours it did. I was amazed at how comfortable it felt when I slept on it that first night! The next night was just as good and three weeks later I can confidently say this pillow is amazing! It has helped me sleep so much better without tossing and turning and my neck no longer hurts when I wake up. I was skeptical but now that I have used it, I am so happy I purchased it. I do have a couple of issues with it, the first is the cost, it's so expensive but the truth is I would buy it again. The second is, for about the first week it had a terrible smell. I finally put two pillow cases on it and that helped and thankfully the smell eventually went away entirely. The only problem I see going forward is I'm never going to be able to use a regular pillow again no matter how firm it is, so I'll have to take this with me when I travel! ... show more
