I’ve been experiencing neck pain for the last 4 months, I’ve bought all kinds of pillows nothing works. Down filled are too unsupportive for side sleeping unless you get one that is stuffed until it’s firm. But at that point you get a link in your neck because the pillow is ten feet tall. Gel pillows are always too stiff and the issue is the same. I was hesitant to buy this because of the price point but I got it on sale and needed to try something different. After using it for about a week I would buy it full price no questions asked. This pillow is amazing, the foam/gel mixture they use is not like any other pillow I’ve seen or used. A really good pillow for side sleepers with medium to broad shoulders who don’t roll onto their backs. I thought I could use this to keep me on my side. It was well made, really comfortable and uniformly shaped. It doesn’t taper towards the edges. This was nice at first since you get uniform support anywhere along the pillow. Unfortunately I found myself rolling onto my back throughout the night so my head was really tilted forward. Somehow I never woke up from this and it made my neck pretty sore. Since this pillow was already a little too thick for me, this was really bad for my neck. If you don’t roll, this is a really supportive pillow. I gave it four stars since it’s such a high quality pillow. If you don’t roll at night this is worth the price. I ended up going with the Coop pillow as it allows you to add or remove filling to personalize your fit and it tapers towards the edges. That’s been much more comfortable for my neck when I roll on my back. ... show more

Absolutely LOVE my pillow! My head runs really hot when I sleep, so I still do the "pillow flip" in the middle of the night sometimes to get the refreshed cold side, but it has made such a big difference in the quality of my sleep. So far it has held up its shape. I find the deluxe to have a firmer feel than the regular cooling pillow cube (my husband has that one). I will say that the cover is a bit slippery, and my pillowcase has a tendency to slide off. The box pillow came in a 'small' box. It is a foam cube inside of a pillow case with zipper. After un wrappiig the plastic around the rolled up deflated pillow it will take on air and expand to the pillows intended size. What I noticed right afer this enlargement was a smell kind of like a hobby glue or maybe turpentine (we all smell things differently) that permeated the pillow cover which was around the foam. Took off the pillow case and discovered that the smell was coming from the foam inside. What to do. Return means findiing a larger box. So went to the product makers website through Amazon and this is some of the Chat, like chat because it gives a text to refer to at a later time. The answer shown here, surrounded by """, was right away so this situation must exist with other purchasers: """ System (Pillow Cube) Nov 3, 2023, 12:36 PM MDT (12:34:19 PM) *** John joined the chat *** (12:34:20 PM) John: Just opened up a pillow cube ordered through Amazon. Why does it smell. Washing out cover but the smell comes from the foam insert. Not wanting to sleep with the pillow if it continues to smell like a hobby glue. (12:34:45 PM) Aly: Hey John, All of the foam we use is of the highest quality. We've seen that if the pillow is packaged quickly after the foam is made, it will have a stronger smell. Luckily, the smell WILL go away. The easiest way to speed up that process is by setting the foam core out in the sun in the open air until the smell has dissipated. We'd also recommend washing the pillowcase and pillow cover. """ After two weeks of putting the foam out in the sun and later letting it sit out in the garage and then later in the house there is still a slight lingering smell.
