I put them on my ankles and walked to my doctor appointment, the pharmacy, some grocery shopping and then walked home. I put in almost 12, 000 steps yesterday!! That's a lot for this senior female. The weights stayed where I placed them and were very comfortable. I wore mine over ankle socks. I don't jog or run, but I walk pretty fast.
