This phone adapter screws snugly onto my tripod and is very strong. It easily accommodates my iPhone SE with an Otter Box Defender case installed. The spring activated adapter “jaws” held the phone securely allowing for great group photos. I used my Apple Watch Camera Remote app to take pictures when I was in the photo also. If not for the "They delivered it to the wrong house, so 2 stars" reviews it would be even higher And I give it all 5 stars. It clamps your phone very securely and quickly. The rotation function is smooth as glass with positive clicks every 90° and locks down at any angle. There are 3 different tripod mounting positions so you can use it on a selfie stick or a normal tripod mount. Did I say it's solid? Very solid, as in solid aluminum. Also there are 3 different cold-shoe attachment points if you need such a thing. All-in-all an impressive piece of kit for a very reasonable price. ... show more

Bought this smartphone tripod mount to replace a cheap plastic part that broke on my ring light. This is extremely well made of aluminum and finely machined. A bit heavy but OK on my ring light. The only issue is a WAY too strong phone mount. The spring to hold the phone cannot be opened without 2 hands - exerting a lot of pressure. I have an iPhone Max which is pretty wide and it is a challenge to mount the phone. Works great and easy to adjust when phone is mounted. Recommended! ... show more

Great quality. Metal and durable. Good for cameras however I used with Ulanzi MT 34 and the phone holder did not screw into tripod securely. The trios does come with its own phone holder built into MT 34- good quality but for me prefer the function of this phone holder as u can twist and rotate with having to unscrew and tighten every time u want to take a selfie MT 34. Need phone adjustments quickly and this phone holder is perfect but does not tighten securely (my opinion) into MT34 Both high quality good fit for XLR and GoPro but not when I used the ST 22 or 27 it comes with a built in phone holder but I want to use one with more options of 360’ and boots for microphone Very lightweight and comfortable compared to the round plastic sticks.
