No instructions so had to look up a video on YouTube on how to put together (thank God for the internet)! The remote works via Bluetooth and the mic quality and light quality is actually good. It is really light so obviously the quality is not great but I bought for my nine year old.

The description said 50inches… more like 36. I suppose if the tripod is closed with fully extended legs it may be 50 inches vertically, but one you open the top of you lose the inches… no one wants to lose inches, Amiright? Still a decent purchase if description had matched item.

    • Substandard parts don't fit together
The components that came in the box do not fit together and hold together. When you attach each part together and tighten the tightening screws as tight as they will go, the pieces just fall apart - they don't hold together. Tightening the screws does not attach them together. This is obviously cheaply made and does not even function as advertised. A complete rip-off and I need to return it. ... show more

I bought this because it looked like a compact unit and easy to travel with. The tripod is NOT 50 inches. It is more like 39inches. It is not sturdy. The light is ok and bright and the microphone works, BUT the remote did not work, and the remote broke when I put back it its clip! The entire unit is flimsy and I am disappointed. First of all let me say, I absolutely love the tripod. It is exactly like how it is advertised, very sturdy and exactly what I needed. You can safely attach your phone or digital camera and the microphone is decent! My light did not work even after charging so I reached out to them. The responded immediately and worked with me.
