When you connect to the control it comes with, it always connects quickly which I like! It’s a good selfie stick but if you try and use it as a tripod, it isn't very sturdy it always tilts over. I purchased this tripod for a recent trip I took to Glacier National Park. It was very lightweight, worked as a selfie stick or tripod, and included a Bluetooth remote that magnetically attached to the tripod. The remote didn't influence my decision to purchase this particular tripod, but when I started using it, I really appreciated not needing to use the timer on my camera (and my family members appreciated how much faster I was able to take group photos when I didn't need to keep setting the timer). It also took very little room in my suitcase and hardly added any weight. The only downside was that it was not as stable on uneven surfaces or if the wind is blowing too hard. I was able to stabilize it by placing a backpack at the base when the wind was blowing or if I had it on too steep of an incline. For the price point, I think the benefits far outweighed the deficits. I was also thankful that I had the tripod with me to steady the camera since I was fortunate enough to visit while the Northern Lights were visible. ... show more

It’s easier to hold as a selfie stick and it opens properly. con - the thing that annoys me the most is its very loose. I always have to keep tightening certain parts and that drives me CRAZY. it’s not that sturdy, it may tip over depends on where you’re using it at.
