We live on a steep hill (between 15% and 20% grade) and this scooter could climb it (on a full charge) but it slowed dramatically (down to 4mph). The manual states it has 350 watts of power and it is rear wheel drive. It has three power modes: Low (walking mode), Medium, and High. The maximum speed is 15 mph. It has 8.5-inch pneumatic tires and weighs 33 pounds. It has rear disc brakes but no front brakes – braking power is OK, but would be better with front brakes also. I did not try to connect the app as I felt it was not needed. The display tells me all I need to know and is easy to see even in bright sunlight. It has front and rear lights. The folded dimensions are: 44 inches long x 16 tall x 17 ½ wide. RANGE = 16.4 miles: At 9 miles I was down to 2 bars (5 bars is a full charge). At 13 miles I was down to 1 bar and on moderately steep hills, the max speed was down to 10mph. At 15 miles, the 1 bar started flashing red. At 16 miles, the max speed on moderate hills was 8mph. At 16.5 miles there was there was very little power and it was no longer useful. I measured the range starting with a full charge. I weigh 150 pounds. I put the scooter in the maximum power mode. The terrain was a combination of flat and mild hills with little wind. About 80% of the time, I was using full throttle at 15mph. Less speed, flat terrain and a lighter person would of course get more range. Lockable: On several scooters I have had in the past, there was no way to lock it to a bike rack or pole. This scooter has an opening in the frame that you can thread a cable, chain, or U-Lock through. This is a very nice feature. ... show more

My wife and I are really enjoy this scooter, and impress by the quality of this product. This is the 3rd scooter we brought, and it has the longest battery life. After playing with it for over one month, scooter very sturdy and battery life still stay strong

Easy to put together and so fun to ride. Rode it the 1 mile to work today and had a blast. Good speed and battery. Can't wait for the weekend to ride it around town.

    • Comparatively speaking, it’s okay…
Writing this review, based on how this stacks up next to my other scooter at the same exact price point almost. Both say 15 mph, but side by side this one gets left behind by my other scooter. Not sure why.. it feels less powerful. Air filled tires for this unit, compared to solid tires from my other. Not sure which is better. The air filled ones seem to take bumps a little better even with the lack of suspension. But the solid tires feel, well, more solid especially thru turns. I do prefer the light weight of this one compared to my other, makes it a little easier to bring in and out of places or up stairs when needed. Braking system, the braking system of this scooter is placed on the back tire, when braking from full speed to a stop, the stopping distance is significantly greater than my other. I almost feel they are not strong enough at times. My other scooter had the brakes in the front. And although they at times are too strong and make you feel like your falling forward, I think they do their job.. I can stop on a dime almost. For different people I guess you can like either one. Both have nice brake lights and headlights. And both have a nice user friendly app. Things that separate this one from my other, this has a rolling odometer to show how many miles on the life of the scooter. Can be a good or bad thing depending on if you decide to keep it or not. This one also has led light on the bottom for greater visibility, a nice touch but I feel it’s almost childish. Hope this helps, if you only have this scooter as an experience you will have a great fun time for sure. i loved this scooter and i would've kept it until it died. the frame snapped. i do small commutes. kinda disappointed in the build quality. didn't even last 2 months

This Phantomgogo Electric Scooter is the first scooter I've ridden since childhood and I can say it's so much better with a motor. My son, who's a skateboarder, loves riding it. It's convenient for local trips and a lot of fun. Very simple to assemble, just unfold and clip the front stem and put in 6 screws, charge it up and take off. The tires are puncture-proof tubeless so the ride is soft. The front stem folds back and latches making it easy to carry (wt. 33 lbs) and store. The manual is very well written, there's a generous warranty policy, and plenty of safety warnings and tips. There's a Phantomgogo app you can download that keeps stats for the scooter and more.
