The media could not be loaded. I came back and changed my review to 5 star as I have had the crate for a month now. All I can say is it has worked wonders for my rescue Catahoula who had such separation anxiety he had chewed through two crates, b Chewed holes in the walls of my new home, damaged window sills and baseboards etc. He absolutely lives this crate. I think it's tge fact there are no bars, instead holes so he can see out in all directions, even the top. He has claimed it as his now and sleeps in it with the door open at night and when we have to leave he goes right in and we shut the door. He has not offered to try to get out or chew on the cage. Prior to this cage he had done upwards of $4K damage to our house and we were ready to surrender him to a shelter, as a last ditch effort we bought this crate...it is worth every cent. It saved our home from further destruction and saved his life because dogs with behavior issues rarely get adopted out of shelters. When we are home he is a Prince, nowadays when we leave....he remains a Prince! This crate is awesome! Update to original review: The seller refunded a portion of the charge because the crate was bent and no instructions. I was happy with that. So far the crate has held up well and my big Goldendoodle (who is not the dog I bought it for) has taken it over. My overly anxious 9 month old Leopard Dog is who I bought it for, he seems to enjoy being in it and hasn't torn it up like he did prior crates, I think the design (no bars) it the reason he cannot destroy it. So I'm changing my rating to 4 stars, would be 5 but the delayed shipping and receipt of a damaged panel cost a star. Original Review: Arrived late. Panel was damaged. Zero assembly instructions. Hired someone to try to figure out how to put it together, it took nearly an hour, he said the metal and the hardware are cheaply made and he thought my dog would easily bend the metal. I'm going to give it chance but sorely disappointed in spending over $300 on a crate that seems very flimsy. At this point the late arrival and arriving damaged is my biggest complaint, I won't know until my dog tries to get out of the crate if it's inescapable or indestructible, the fact that the side panels had damage upon arrival makes me think it's probably not going to be indestructible. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Updated: 11.28.23. I wanted to add pictures of my dogs previous kennel. Comparative, the new kennel has been a splendid upgrade, to say the least. And she is an aggressive chewer. Since she is a big dog, I feel more comfort knowing that she has enough room as well. I love this kennel, I gave it 5 stars because it was easy to put together and easy to clean. I have a 2 year old husky who tore up her old standard kennel (the common kennel, the one that everyone gets the first time). The metal was broken, she chewed through some of the bars that it was just falling apart, and it was super loud when she would get in and out of it. This sturdy kennel is quiet, she has so much room to move about and she can't chew it which is great for her teeth. Lol. She has fallen love with it. She won't lay anywhere else. :) I hope this review helps other pet owners like myself. It did take more time to arrive but it is definitely worth the price if have a little one that needs a home equivalent to a kennel house. ... show more

Huskies...need I say more? They are an extremely intelligent, puzzle solving, escape artist of a breed... and can be very destructive. This kennel has surpassed everything I have expected: - Escape proof: The latches are built in such a way, that without opposable thumbs, he's not getting out. Other kennels, he's always been able to figure out a way to get the latches open. This cage, he can't access them. - Holds up to attempted destruction: Him and my other Huskies have destroyed other kennels. From breaking welds, to flipping, to somehow becoming metal chewing beavers, most kennels have been just a fun toy that last a few days before the stuffing has been pulled from every chewed spot. This kennel, with the design, has prevented him from being able to find a weak spot to start tearing at. - Construction: The sides and top are solid, the floor is VERY solid, and with an 80 pound dog with immense strength, it's held up very well. He actually likes the kennel so much, that he will sit in it when he just wants to be away from his annoying little sister (she's still in her T-rex puppy stage). My high anxiety dog is known for breaking out of standard dog crates. We thought this crate would be one that he could do hard or damage to himself with me after 30 minutes in this crate, he was able to break off the welded door stopper so that it was sticking out at the interior side of the crate. This is very sharp and now make the crate unsafe and ineffective. Would like to get a refund for this as it is unusable. ... show more

I think this was a pretty solid purchase. Our dog is kept safe. We needed to get another crate since the traditional crates don't hold our anxious Husky. She's bent up/torn off the bars in the past. Our older dog passed recently and she destroyed her other crate worse than before. We needed something where she couldn't bust the bars and get her head stuck. It's been going on about 3 months and she's mellowed out. I was a bit disappointed at first with how the paint/coating came off fast (from the scratching) but all things considered I think it's doing the job considering the circumstances. Easy to latch but she can't reach it/escape. The slats at the bottom are kind of annoying because dog treats will fall through, so I have to bribe her before going into the crate. Easy enough to put together. I think a couple of the screw holes were off, so they didn't align correctly/didn't screw completely in. ... show more
