I purchased this item for the doorway between the kids bedroom in the camper and the main area. My daughter has a pug that we are always worried will run out the door of the camper when we are entering/exiting. She's also old enough now that we don't want to leave her in her crate all day in the camper if we are out and about but also don't want her and our Golden running around the entire camper when we aren't there. This is able to adjust to the width of the camper doorway without doing damage to the frame or worries of pinching fingers/etc. It is lightweight to allow for air movement still. Super simple to assemble, nice quality, incredibly easy to position in door way, very light weight & no damage to wood work! I bought to keep my dog out of my bedroom & allow my cats in. My dog is very large, yet is not inclined to yry to push past or knock down any gates. So, this gate is perfect for my home! The mesh is thin so not good for any pets who chew or scratch excessively. I bought this before moving, so had no idea how wide I would need a gate to be. This was not wide enough for my staircase, but was wide enough for doorways. I have not used the opening the gate, but the gate adjusts easily, it light and well constructed. I love it, my French Bulldog pup hates it. Well done! ... show more

I suspect that this works as advertised. I planned to use it to introduce my new rescue kitten to my existing housecat. I had kept them in separate rooms for abt a week, feeding on opposite sides of door. The day after the gate came, the kitten flew like Batman to a counter much higher that gate! He could have jumped right over! Never even opened box. After another week or so of yowling, they are starting to get along. ... show more

It was easy to assemble, fit the doorway, and looks good. I did find my dog could walk through it (meant to keep her out of the cat room) but zippering the entrance partially closed fixed that problem.

Great purchase. Well made and easy to install. This is the perfect height to keep my Golden retreivers from jumping over, yet easy for me to step over ( I am 5'3"). My cat litter box is now off limits for my dogs. I definitely recommend this product.
