We have a finicky eater, doesn't like putting his head in the bowl although it is super shallow. He likes his kibble to be taken out of the bowl and spread around for him. He seems to be eating more willingly now and sometimes even moves to the bowl after the first few bites. It's easy to clean if his bowl has something moist in it that gets onto the pad. This product though it is a absorbing mat, it has a slicker type surface which makes wiping it down so much easier. I did purchase on lightning deal for like $5 so for that the size and quality is great. Would prefer a little larger but wanted to try the brand first before I spent $20+. Cute designs and it’s pretty thick and absorbent and seems to wipe off ok. DEFINITELY if you have smaller dogs or a cat the smaller on lightning deal esp would be a good choice. It holds 2 of our med bowls just fine but if you have a larger or messier pup you’re gonna need more space. We have several around and larger ones also. The ONLY reason for 4 stars is that it’s not as big as I would like but the dimensions when ordering were correct. I see so many reviews where ppl clearly did check dimensions nor read the entire listing /description lol. So the lack of 5⭐️is nothing really to do with quality however we have only had it a couple weeks at this point ... show more
