It's a good tool and it does its purpose..but the mechanism on holding the gears could be better..don't forget to get a extra strap for what ever your pulling

This come along gets the job done. I've used it to pull sections of a fence back together, and will soon do the same with a garden bed. As others have cautioned, the advertised 6' cable length really means about 3' of usable cable+tool length. This “come along” is perfect for light weight home use. Much better price than other similar models. As other reviews state, it has a short cable so I attach a longer chain or cable to it and when required. It is good for 2 ton and under jobs.
