Sometimes remanufactured ink arrives dry or does not print as dark as name brands. So far I have had none of these issues with this brand. As far as how long it lasts, I am not there yet! But, I've printed more than the regular (non-XL) cartridges and it's still going, so at the very least is worth that since this XL duo is cheaper than the name -brand standard. They seem to be and acceptable replacement for the manufacturer cartridges. They are way cheaper and so far I have printed Maybe 200 pages and everything works and looks great.

    • Model numbers and cost
This arrived on time. Boxed and wrapped well. I have 3 complaints. 1. I have a canon inkjet MG3600. I do not know if the information is Canon's fault or the seller, but I looked at multiple vendors, and it is hard to find a proper product number. The MG3600 number is seldom listed, and some sellers list the compatible numbers, and some do not. Making it difficult to know if one fits or doesn't. I know that was probably is hard to understand. 2. The ink stock numbers are different for color and black. Again something I have not seen before. 3. The price is ridiculous. especially for a little plastic printer. I checked all on here, another site, and Canon. I have another large printer that does more things and the cost of ink is about half this one. This was the cheapest ink for my Canon so if you must have it order here. Both my friend and I are going to look for another printer that the cost of ink does not exceed the price of the printer. ... show more

The color printing is terrible. When printing the color is not close to what is on the screen. I've also had a lot of paper feed issues that I've never had before. Not sure how that would be related but that's the reality of it. For the price difference stick with the big OEM brands (Staples, SmartInk, etc) or the Canon brand. ... show more

Arrived in one day as advertised. Came well packed and protected. Came with printed installation instructions, troubleshooting information and an alcohol cleaning pad (which I did not need). I put them in an eight year printer that had never been used. I did not trust the original ink cartridges in the box. The Penguin Remanufactured Printer Ink Cartridges worked fine, no installation problems at all. The print quality is good. I cannot comment on the long term usability though because Amazon sends review requests before anyone has a chance to use the product?? ... show more

These cartridges work great in my Canon printer. They come with good documentation of what to expect and troubleshooting if necessary. Other non OEM cartridges I've tried leaked or weren't acknowledged by my printer. Just the way they were packaged gave me a good feeling about their quality.

I've had mixed luck with these cartridges. When they work, they seem to work perfectly. I've had two of them fail right out of the box, something that has never happened to me with original Canon cartridges. They are warrantied, so I'm sure if you get a bad one, they will replace it for you, but when you're on a tight schedule and the brand new cartridge doesn't work, it's a real problem. I wish I could give a better review, but I've had 3 sets of these and 2 failures, which doesn't work for me. ... show more
