Such fast service and so easy to assemble. As I live in a very hot climate (currently 115 degrees for 2 straight weeks) so I opted to only inflate the air bladders about 1/2 way. It is nice they included a small hand pump, but pinching the valves and blowing them up manually seems to work faster. Instead of filling the weight bag with rocks I just sat a brick on each anchor arm and they seem to stay in place even with an occasional hit from my pool cleaner hose. Younger rabbits and birds are my biggest problem so there is plenty of buoyancy even for rabbits with just 1/2 inflation. I foolishly placed one just before my skimmer inlet. That ended up blocking the effectiveness of my skimmer but by placing it about 1 foot past the skimmer opening it seemed to really help with skimming. Just an added benefit for using these! Not sure how long they will last in our AZ summer sun, but if they save one bunny or bird they are worth it to me. ... show more

Saves many frogs...before getting, we had a frog every other day drown in the pool but haven't seen one in the past month. It's easy to use...just inflate, add weight (we used rocks) to the top pocket. Good quality, too.

I keep my pool open year round and sometimes during heavy rains I would wind up with frogs in my pool. I would come home after working the midnight shift and grab my leaf net and try to save all the frogs that were still alive. This is my 2nd time buying these as they start to look bad after a few years but are well worth the investment. Since I have started using these I have had Zero dead frogs in my pool. You do need something to weight them down, I usually just purchase a small bag of small polished rocks to put in the pockets that set on the deck and that works great. Constructed with high quality fabric. Easy to setup. Includes a hand pump to blow up the floating pad but takes awhile to blow up. I had to take out my portable inflator to get it done. Don't need to fully inflate though so it sits flatter on the water.

I have two in my pool, in the two areas most critters were getting stuck. And we had bunches - frogs, snakes, lizards, skinks, possums, mice, moles, land turtles, etc. I have purchased several variations of these rescue floats over the years, and I have had very few dead or struggling animals since (only moles, since they are blind). They definitely work. I even find beetles and bees clinging to the sides sometimes. This brand is larger and more attractive than most. Be aware that all of these floats, regardless of brand, need replaced regularly, approx once per year. They start to deteriorate over time in the sun and can mildew in the shade (I am in Florida). They are well worth the money each summer though, to save vulnerable wildlife. ... show more

Have not experienced any varmint drowned in my pool since purchase and usage. Easy to use. Only complaint is that it catches a lot of dirt and requires cleaning from time to time. Water does skim around product nicely though. REVISED REVIEW: Material torn/worn from likely sun/chlorine (via keeping in my pool) ...fyi..we use a Professional Pool Cleaner. Did not even last the Summer Season so..yes a bit disappointed. IF I purchase this item again (cuz still no varmits drowned in pool) I would suggest being vigilant about only using it at night ... show more

I can’t praise this thing enough! I bought it because I was tired of being upset about all of the poor unfortunate tiny frogs that were constantly drowning in our pool. I bought this two months ago and Since then I’ve only found two dead in the pool trap which is a huge improvement from finding a few a week. I see spiders and all kinds of other bugs using it too.
