Started with a green mess with sediment at the bottom. Vacuumed to waste first. I still have one more chemical, Algicide, to add. This was in one day. Before and after. It’s my 3rd year using their pool opening and closing kits. Cheaper and just as good, if not better than the pool store’s kits! The instructions were easier to follow. The last time I bought a kit from the pool store, it came with zero instructions! Note: I normally buy a new cover every year and always opened with clear water. First year closing with a used cover. These are great products for your pool. We have a small above ground pool and the water was starting to turn green from some algae. Used these products and within a couple hours the pool was crystal clear. Worth buying.
