I had to put this cat tree together by myself. While I was initially intimidated, once I pulled everything out of the securely packaged box (the parts were tightly packed in a plastic bag that was in a heavy, wax-coated box) and checked each piece off the list to make sure it was all there, I realized it wouldn't be that bad. Didn't even need any tools. They supply the necessary allen wrench. It took me roughly an hour to assemble with no problems. This thing is really tall. I had to leave out the next to last section at the top because it was going to hit my ceiling. I left out the one section and continued on with the very top, adjusting the rods as directed, now the very top is about 2 inches from the ceiling. It seems very sturdy, the package weighed over 35 lbs. It doesn't seem quite as stable as I'd have liked, but that could just be my floors (we just moved here, so I'm just not positive if it's the tree or the floor). But the cats have been all over it, jumping, running, and climbing - without knocking it over, so... that's a bonus! They love the little corner cubby and the hammocks, which they usually sleep in one together. One of them (I suspect Spartacus) tore one of the little fluffy balls off the sting in less than 72 hours. But they do have a spare in the box for just such occasions. They also include 2 spare carpeted "tubes", which is also nice... just in case. The desert cactus design is cute, in my opinion. Overall, it was definitely worth the price and I would purchase it again if I needed another one. Despite the ball (he's a pretty aggressive kitten in the playing world) I still give it 5 stars. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to put together and came with all necessary parts. I didn’t use two pieces because it would’ve been too tall, so if you have tall ceilings this is perfect. Juni loves it and it fits perfectly in my room! Sturdy, safe and so cute!

This tree was so easy to assemble, it’s soft, and the cat loved it. The poles on the ceiling keep it stable! The only critique I really have is the circular baskets are pretty small and flimsy - they do not hold my cat who is about 11 pounds and he doesn’t feel comfortable stepping on them since they give so much. I ended up choosing this specific cat tree because it was the only one under $100 that said it would work with 10' ceilings. Most of them accommodate up to 9', and I didn't want to take any chances- I'm in an older Victorian home with 120" walls on the first floor. I received it quickly and managed to assemble and install this tree within 45 minutes; that includes opening the box, reading the instructions, getting a ladder, and getting my drill so I could anchor it to the wall. The assembly is very simple with the most challenging portion being getting the posts inside the base bed lined up with the bolts. Once it's anchored to the wall, it seems pretty sturdy. The box arrived intact, and all the pieces were there. Set up took about an hour, and instructions were easy to follow. Right off the bat the materials felt kind of cheap. It seemed a little wobbly upon final set up, but sturdy enough, in that I was unable to get the pieces any tighter than they already were. The cats loved it. The hammock pouches are kind of small for an adult cat, but all three managed to squeeze into them at one point or another. The liked the scratching posts, and began using them almost immediately. However, less than a week after setting it up I came home from work to find that it had collapsed in the middle and half of it was on the floor. Upon inspection I could see that they used staples to connect the cardboard tubes to the plastic rings that tighten everything together, but the staples didn't go into the plastic in 90% of the time. So there really wasn't any connection other than being wedged. Even using some glue would have provided better support. I'm just lucky none of my cats were injured when it fell, and the thing didn't take the lamp nearby down with it. I will be returning this for a refund. If they are all made the same way, there's no point in getting a replacement because it would probably break in the same way. Very disappointed for only a week's worth of use. ... show more

We all love this tree. It took me about 35 minutes to assemble, except for attaching to the ceiling. Then, I had my husband help (I probably could have done it myself, but this way he was climbing up and down, not me) and that took less than five minutes. I really like the two posts to the ceiling (we have 9 foot ceilings and these adjustable posts are like big screws that you can raise and lower the ultimate height for pretty easily. The tree is attractive and soft. Our three boys are all 8-10 lbs so for their sizes, having three on it is fine. They all love the basket hammocks and the “cave.” ... show more

My whole house is a moody *goth* vibe, so when i seen this I immediately added it to my cart. Coffins for my kitty? Yes please! My 1yo orange cat is a major climber. (He's ornery) He has a regular tower less than half this size in my room. So upgraded to this, the size is HUGE. My ceiling is 101in tall (roughly 257cm) But super easy to put together. I'm short, and did it on my own! Little wobbly, but I didn't screw it into the wall, because I have one cat and he seems to jump on and off just fine without it moving too much! Only complaint, the fuzz is super super soft, and when assembling it did create a but of a fuzzy mess. But no big deal. Like I said it's soft, my cat LOVES it. His new favorite tall place to be away from his doggo brothers and sister, and human siblings. My living room is black and red, this matches PERFECTLY. LOVEEEE. ... show more
