I had a previous cat tree that was falling appart from years of use by an older cat (whom I had to put to sleep), so I decided to look at other brands for a model more appealing to my current young ones. My previous tree had a bottom section that rearly got used, and was pretty big. This particular tree is a bit narrow, which gives my livingroom more space, but don't let that full you, there is plenty of sleeping and play place. Assembly was very easy, and totally worth it. Every section gets played on, and it's ideal for 2 cats. There are 2 pom poms that my furry kids love, and each gets their own cubbies. It comes with a feature to attach the tower to the wall I think, but the structure is pretty solid and I found no need for it. ... show more

I'm honestly surprised how sturdy this thing is. So far so good, although we just set it up so we'll see how long it lasts. One of our cats insisted on "helping" my wife set it up. It was easy to put together even with it being so tall. It ended up being much taller than expected (5' 3" wife for height reference). She picked out the color and I think our girls like it. I also like that there are scratching posts and a scratch pad on the bottom too. It feels like a durable scratch fabric. There are visible staples keeping the scratch rope on the pole, but I don't think there's any danger of them popping out with our cats. The only con is the smell, but it's not really a chemical smell, more like a woodsy smell. Kinda like IKEA furniture sometimes has. So not a big deal for us, but if you or your cats are sensitive to that, you might want to let it air out for a bit. ... show more

Very nice, not too bad to put together. Best for a small cat or kittens. Will not be sturdy enough for a bigger cat. This is for kittens so for now will be good. The material on the enclosure part is a little thin.

Our cat LOVES this tree! It’s super tall, and he loves the boxes to lay in and nap. It is admittedly a little wobbly when he climbs too quickly, so make sure you have a location where you are confident you can secure to a wall. Also note that our cat could reach the sprinkler heads in our apartment in the original location I wanted to put it so we had to move it. No fault of the seller, just something I overlooked until I saw him reach for the sprinkler. I would not put this near a sliding glass door/window due to the wobble with support ... show more

Got this for our two kitties specifically bc it said for large cats and we have a big boy weighing in at 15 pounds. The reviews say it’s sturdy but it’s pretty wobbly and the compartment on bottom is even a little small for him. But our smaller 10 lb female loves it and uses the hammock as well as the lower podium. The highest is just too unstable even for her. ... show more
