I’ve used Pattern products since they were initially released and have recommended them to my sisters. The three of us have different hair types and this is a great product which works for all of us. First off the color is super cute and refreshing to have this in a unique color. The attachments are great and work well for all of us. One of us has super thick curly hair, another thick wave, and another lots of fine, straighter hair. The attachments helps us style our hair differently. We also liked how the hairdryer wasn’t heavy, super loud and hurting our ears. It wasn’t so super hot and burning our scalp either which is an issue at a salon or with other hairdryers. It still dries our hair in record time without burning. Using the other pattern products with it makes our hair look so nice! I didn’t think the size of this dryer could pack the power of a traditional sized dryer! This gave me the power and performance of a Connair yellow/blackbird (my fave) with the size and brush versatility I need for my hair type (4C). I can’t say it’s worth the price point because my hair didn’t give the end result any traditional brand of “ionic” dryers don’t already do. However I am not mad at my purchase at all and happy I have such a beautiful hair dryer set. ... show more

    • The warranty period is way too short for the cost of the hair dryer
Unfortunately I have had my hair dryer for less than six months and the heating element is no longer working. Considering the cost, I expected it to last much longer (and frankly expected the buyer’s warranty to be longer than 60 days). Repairing the coil will cost me nearly as much as I paid for the hair dryer, and, while I loved the hair dryer while it lasted, it is not worth $400. ... show more

My whole life i have been only getting cheap ass dryers($20 or less) and they keep breaking or catching fire. I decided to spend a pretty penny. pattern is great, although 3 of the attachments aren't ment for my curl pattern the diffuser works great! The dryer is light weight, GORGEOUS and it locks attachments into place so it doesnt fall out and scare the hell out of you. Frizz is fine, it all depends on whether u hover over an area too long. Make sure to have your heat protectant ready! A must buy for all curly girls ... show more

    • Great for thick hair
One of the reasons I avoid blow drying my hair is how long it takes to get it completely dry. My hair isn’t curly, but it’s very thick and tends to get frizzy, so I was curious about trying this one for its features but also to try the attachments to see if they’d be useful for my hair. The wide-tooth comb attachment is my new favorite thing, it was easy to use and helped detangle my hair gently - it also means I can dry and detangle with one hand. This blowdryer is incredible! I have 3C/4A hair and I was able to get my hair the straightest it’s been from just a blowdry. It also sped up my process so much! I used the brush attachment and loved that my roots were so smooth when I was done. The attachments are really stable and I didn’t have any problem with them popping off (whereas with previous dryers they always did).
