I recently received this pillow, and while it’s incredibly comfortable and provides excellent support for my neck, I’m torn due to the strong chemical odor it has. The pillow cradles my neck perfectly, giving me a restful sleep without any strain, which I love. Unfortunately, the smell is overpowering and gives me a headache whenever I use it. The odor seems like chemicals or plastic, and even after airing it out for a while, it persists. If the smell could be improved, this pillow would be perfect. I have neck pain and no matter which pillow I purchased never gave me any relief. In fact I would wake up sometimes in the middle of the night because of the amount of pain and or headaches that I would get. It didn't matter if I had a feather pillow, a firm pillow, a soft pillow, a memory foam pillow, a shredded memory foam pillow or even a ergonomic pillow, always have neck pain in the morning. I decided to try this pillow and I swear to you it was the BEST decision I have ever made!! The first night I slept on it I woke up in the morning with no pain, no stiffness in my neck and no headache! I tried so hard to like it.. The first night it dug into my arm when I payed on my stomach.. when I woke up my neck hurt so bad. The second night I tried to sleep on my side or back only.. The first one I ordered was just the foam pillow with the pillowcase there was no insert. I ordered second one for a family member and it shipped with the removable foam insert and a section in the pillowcase to insert the extra piece into. Not happy that I received two different pillow cases and a missing foam insert on my first order.. aside from that the pillow itself is comfortable and my neck and shoulders do not feel as sore as I am a side sleeper. This helps take some pressure off the shoulders. Hopefully ot continues cause I am tired of buying pillows to see what will actually work. ... show more

I’m a side sleeper and have been through a lot of pillows. I believe the chase is over because this pillow alleviates my neck pain completely overnight. It almost feels like it’s too high, but it works, so I will leave well enough alone. I thought these pillows looked goofy, but it works
