Some pieces came broken but that was fine. I found them easier to use when they are in half pieces. I think the only thing I did not care for is the draw line is not real thin but that is just my personal perf. Other than that these work very well. I used this, erasable pens by pilot, a more expensive tailors chalk, and two types of fabric pencils on a light tan fabric while making a shirt. The Erasable pens didn't transfer well but came out without a hassle, the other chalk was too light to see, one of the pencils didn't agree with soft fabric and the other stained my button hole blue. Despite how easy these things are to accidentally wipe off or transfer to other fabric, and it's tendency to break or chip of you look at it wrong this is by far the best fabric tracing tool I've tried yet ... show more

These are great I’ve tested many kinds some brands you have to draw a line so hard to get it to show up BUT NOT THESE THEY ARE EASY TO USE and give clear markings they are easy to break so don’t hold them too rough or slam them down on your work station or drop them because it will break but I’m ok with that ... show more

They’re thin. Thinner than I thought. So thin are they that I think I just cracked one with my mind whilst thinking of the word wafer. But that’s silly, it probably arrived precracked then broke when light hit it. Maybe my light bulbs aren’t soft enough for chalk this thin. I’m just sayin’, they are slight. Their thinness exceeds my expectations. But they do make fine lines if you can pick one up without compromising its structural integrity. I’m going to keep trying and give them a chance. Maybe they’re not as crumbly in a more humid climate. I don’t know but now they have me craving tea & sugar wafers. Toodles… ... show more

I have a tendency to be a little heavy-handed when using pens and pencils, so I have to be careful with these as they are quite thin. They feel a little fragile when I use them, but so far, no issues. I like that they are a good quality - they provide a nice line and erase easily enough if you make a mistake.
