I run a small print farm and have standardized on Overture as my go-to filament for most situations. Once the printer is dialed in, this filament delivers consistent prints over and over again. Some reviews mention that certain colors print badly (purple, for example). This hasn't been my experience at all - I print with the same settings for Overture filament no matter what the color, and always get the same result. Haven't noticed any moisture contamination issues either (wouldn't really expect it with PLA unless it's a blend) and have had no notable issues with stringing or adhesion. Prints a little hotter (215 for me) than some of the other PLA filaments I've used, but the final product is great. ... show more

Worked very well - as I've come to expect from Overture - for the most part. Only minor problem was a tendency for the filament to snap at the extruder when resuming printing after the printer having been idle for a while, requiring reloading, but after that initial reload no problems affected subsequent printing. ... show more

I didn't like this stuff at first, called it unusable, hid it away.... ... But really, it just didn't like my printer. I don't know why-perhaps they got into an argument, a bad relationship? I will never know, but fast forward to my new printer, and I have no complaints. Is it the best pla I've ever used? No. But it's by and far cheaper and really, I've paid more for much worse. With my new printer it comes out wonderfully, isn't brittle like some colors are, and is overall more fun than plain white. Leaves a bit of a smell but it's in line with what I've heard some pla makes. Not unpleasant, and faint enough I forget about it after a minute or so. The color was very nice. The pictures are accurate. This has been the PLA with the best quality in printing that I've used. I HIGHLY recommend this brand. I would say that Overture, Hatchbox, and e-Sun are the top dogs on Amazon. Overture by far has the best quality filament in my opinion. They also like to send little "gifts" with each roll! I like the little build plate they include but I also got some sweet stickers! I wouldn't be surprised if they started sending candy and little toy prints with the type of filament you chose! ... show more
