This was purchased ahead of a hurricane. When we ran it it did not hold the load it said it was intended for and then before 24 hours were even up it stopped running. We did all of the troubleshooting and it still did not fix the issue.

A decent generator with a Generac engine for less money than a equal sized HF model. The Powermate is made by Generac. When I found out the Generac generator was made in China, I figured I'd buy their discount brand for about half the price.

Happy I have it but after losing power 6 times during the summer I got this. Haven't even had a flicker since. But it runs great. Typically noisy but I trust the Generac name.
