Best to have it so when bad weather comes your ready to keep your family safe and house well lite. Continue your activities and keeps children from panicking. A very good item to have. Also it u can set a schedule on the mobile app to test run the unit that way it keeps all oils and moving parts lubricated and ready to work when it needs to. So far so good. It does it's periodic maintenance start up periods, but the peace of mind with the el nino winter we are suppose to have in Virginia was worth the costs. No one I checked with would touch this price plus the switch and 10 year warranty Happy camper so my tail is wagging!
