    • Four Years In
I thought I'd wait a while before reviewing this product. Turns out I waited four years! Plenty of time to tell you that this thing has performed flawlessly all four years. My 'man cave' is out in a room in a garage that does not have climate control, and where we live, winters can get down to below zero regularly. It's a small-ish room, maybe 200-300 sq feet. This heater fills the room with heat pretty quickly. It all depends on the ambient temperature - it will heat the room to 80F in like an hour if the temp outside is in the 40s. Will take several hours if the temp outside is 0. This is hard to gauge for prospective buyers - too many factors (size of room, ambient temperature, desired temperature) - but from my perspective it heats things up fast. Other pluses are that it constantly shows the temperature on a digital read-out, I can set to a certain temperature at which point the heater will shut itself down until the room goes back below that temperature (then it turns back on), and it can blow hot air in multiple directions like a fan. I also feel like it has good safety features (ceramic so it doesn't overheat, non-hot surfaces, turns off if it tips, etc.) For the price, this has more features than a lot of other space heaters at this price point. The only thing it lacks, which I wish it had, was a smart feature so I could turn it off and on from a phone or smart device like Alexa, that way I could get the room heating up before I went into it. In fact I'm shopping for smart heaters now. But this device has really set the bar. I've used it daily for about half of the year, and have for 4 years. and it has worked consistently well all this time. ... show more

    • Perfect solution for a large basement - safe, convenient, and energy efficient! Love it!!!
I absolutely love this space heater!! After doing a TON of online research, I finally settled on this heater for my 25x25 unheated but fully finished basement. This little heater has every safety feature I wanted. My cats hang out downstairs and if they so much as bump it, it shuts off. Don’t have to worry about running it with kids or guests around. It immediately stops if it’s bumped or knocked over. That was super important to me. The thermostat is accurate and the eco setting means I can maintain the temp downstairs and never worry about over heating or using too much power. My electric bill has barely even budged with constant use all winter. It occilates and heats the whole big area in minutes. The remote is convenient. I operate this heater using the remote 99% of the time. The memory feature means I don’t have to scroll through the temp settings every time I turn it on. It just remembers what my settings are and starts up. The timer allows me to choose how long to run it, or I can just set the temp and let the eco mode kick in when the ambient temp in the room rises to that level. This versatility is great! I can’t recommend this heater enough. The price point is right for the quality and features. It works. It heats a large space FAST. It’s safe to use. It doesn’t guzzle electricity AT ALL, and I can set it and let it do its job with ease and without worry. If you’re like me and you’re reading all the reviews, stop here. You’re done.     • Great RV heater, heats fast and saves Propane!
The heat output is fast. The only issue is running by itself in ECO mode through the night, it has trouble maintaining a steady set temperature, with around 64 being set on 67 or so. We use this in our full time RV to save on propane and so far it has, probably enough to already pay for itself. Anyway, this is in ECO setting, high or medium will do better but does use more electricity. Oscillation is a plus, and the safety shut off works perfect. Only thing, when it is unplugged and moved then turned on, the temp will always revert to 85 F, so remember to bring it back down. I think its a great RV heater and feel confident running all night with no issues. ... show more

    • Very good heater, but it can trip a circuit breaker
This seems like a great heater in many ways--it spreads warmth throughout the room (as opposed to an infrared heater I had before, which only heated to about 3 ft from the unit--very unsatisfactory). The remote control is great; it and the heater work very well with simple, easy to use controls. I use the remote from about 6 ft away. Shorty after I started using this heater I was alarmed that it tripped a circuit breaker. (It was especially alarming because I had it on the same circuit as my computer--so the computer shut down abruptly when the breaker tripped.) I thought I would have to send the unit back. But other Amazon customers' answers to questions here suggested two possible solutions: 1) Plug the heater into a different outlet. 2) Don't use the highest of the 3 heat settings. I was skeptical but tried both suggestions. No problems since. I use the heater on the middle setting (1000 W). I think I prefer this setting anyway. Apparently the high setting (1500 W) would use quite a bit more electricity, and the middle setting provides good warmth. The instructions say: "Do not plug anything additional into the same circuit." In most cases I think this would be impractical. Where my heater is now plugged in I have one other appliance on the same outlet, but that appliance is rarely used. I think all outlets in this room are on the same circuit, but still, using a different outlet seems to have solved the problem. (Note: This is not in a house with old wiring. My house is only 3 years old.) In summary, I think this is a very good heater, but you might need to be careful about where you plug it in--if you have other appliances on the same circuit. Only one improvement I would like to see: I always set the timer for 1 hr or 2 hr. I wish I could make 1 hr the default time, so that it would always come on (when powered ON) with the timer set to 1 hr (or 2 hr). I don't want to leave the heater and then find out later I left it running for maybe 6 hours unattended. It would be nice to not have to set the timer every time I turn the heater on. ... show more
