This may be for lawns but for me the bottle makes it easy to use on my porch - small space between each floor slate plus a small space where the floor slates meet the house brick and under the slates live all sorts of bugs and a lot, a lot of mosquitoes (I live in the Houston area need I say more) I can squirt bug clear that yes, is supposed to be cut with water but I squirt it and then use a rain hose so it will spread under the slates but not so much water it washes it down the porch slab... Can't say it works best - it is this years solution. This is easy and affective according to the geckos which have moved on since their diner is no longer located under my porch floor. ... show more

The water pipe connection adapter is of poor quality. Even if you screw it on tightly, a lot of water still seeps outward from the sealed rubber ring, and the hose ejects from the connection adapter as soon as you open the water valve. Perhaps because it was my first time using this brand of insect killer, I didn't get the right amount or didn't spray evenly enough. As a result, very little was achieved, and as far as I can see, little effect has been noticed in the meantime. First of all, some of the reviews say the top part leaks. I had no such issues with any of the bottles I bought. I think there is a chance that they would be an issue if your hose threads were messed up. Otherwise, this thing has a rubber gasket. Ok, how does it work? Pretty good. I had a massive infestation in my yard of grasshoppers. I sprayed the entire yard with this stuff. It took a bottle and a half to cover all the grass and plants in my yard. After it dried (which took about a day) I noticed a large reduction in the population of grasshoppers, spiders, grass flies, and box elder bugs. Did it kill all of them? Nope. But, after about a week no more grasshoppers. The bugs that survived this the best were box elder bugs. Some of them died but a lot lived on. Bees were okay with it. We have a lot of plants that attract bees (and paper wasps), and they didn't have any issue with this. I have found 2-3 dead bees around my yard. But, it's fall and that probably explains that. I will apply another coat in the spring for sure. ... show more

The spray bottle was easy to use. I did get a little bit of water pouring out of the top, but I feel confident my yard was fully saturated. I used to have red ant mounds all over and they have completely disappeared! I feel more confident letting my dogs go outside to play now that the insect population has decreased exponentially. I came across a review here that mentioned this product effectively eliminates Lanternflies, so I decided to give it a try. I'm happy to confirm that it works! After spraying, it takes roughly two hours for the Lanternflies to die. In my experience, they fall off the tree with their wings spread out, seemingly frozen in time. The hose cap on the bottle came off and I have half of liquid left. What is the mixture rate? I hope Ortho can fix this cap issue, zero in on the lanternflies and shorten the kill time to instant. ... show more
