20 years after a hurricane stole my last trampoline, I finally got in the market for another one. I picked this one for several reasons, and it turned out to be an amazing choice! It arrives in two boxes to make it more manageable, and you need both to build the trampoline, even if you don't want to use the upper enclosure. This is the bounciest surface I've ever been on. The springs are some kind of air-hardening steel or spring steel - way stronger than the galvanized springs we had in my day. They even have a curled end to make sure the spring stays very securely on the mat rings. The mat is superb quality with good thickness and a tight weave. The frame is very well-engineered, with tubes that interlock with T-joints to form one solid connection which is then pulled even more solid by the spring tension. Most connections have spring-loaded dots which lock into holes to keep everything in place. The ladder can bear my adult weight with no problem, although I seldom need to use it since I can just lean right onto the trampoline surface. Again, this thing is BOUNCY. Getting conditioned to this only took me about 30 minutes, but during that time, I felt a bit like I was getting sea legs. But, I did jump on this thing right after a big meal with no problem whatsoever! I was able to build this by myself without any issue. The most time-consuming part is stitching on the enclosure net. Tools and gloves are included to help with everything, but the net is going to take you some time if you stitch every individual ring. I prefer the trampoline without the enclosure - the enclosure looks awesome, and the basketball hoop is great, but I really only put the enclosure on to keep our dog from getting on the trampoline. Well, one unexpected bright side is that I can hang lights, portable speakers, etc. around the top rim of the enclosure. The upper enclosure is NOT load-bearing and you cannot put much weight on it. A small child might be able to jump off the net or into it, and do some cool moves, but I can't recommend sending one's body flying directly at it. It's more like a guard rail than a wall. When everything is built, the whole setup looks quite sleek and all metal surfaces are covered. Well, that's all I can think of to tell you about. I highly recommend this trampoline for both kids and adults! Be aware though, it will likely arrive via FedEx and so someone will need to sign for both parcels. * * * UPDATE: It's a few months later. The trampoline is still in tip-top shape, no problems whatsoever. I've taken the upper enclosure off and used a 16x16 foot heavy-duty tarp to cover it. The dogs can't tell what it is, so they now don't go near it, and I have no more worries about animals tearing up the trampoline mat. I get to have the open view of the sky when I'm on it, and I like to put my camera on this trampoline to film the sky so I can speed up the video later! I did also leave the one pole with the basketball hoop, so I still get to enjoy some b-ball with the open trampoline design. If you also decide to use only the basketball pole and not the rest of the enclosure, and you want that pole to be extra-stable, just guy it by running a rope through the adjacent tube, up around the b-ball pole, then down through the next tube and tension it well. Then the hoop will stay right in place for the most consistent shots. I didn't find this necessary though. Also, if you use a tarp to cover the trampoline, put a toy ball or something under the tarp to make the tarp form a cone. Then puddles won't form on it and birds won't come to drink from those :) * * * UPDATE 2: If you have problems with birds hanging out and making a mess on the trampoline, you can try placing owl decoys, spinning reflective objects, or other such things. A plastic Halloween skeleton also seems to do the trick! * * * UPDATE 3: OK this is a really specific thing, but I should mention it. A tournament size (Size 5) basketball won't easily fit through the hoop. You'll want a smaller children's basketball. I got some cheap inflatable ones and they do the job nicely while also being much easier to store. I keep a plastic bin w/latched lids under the trampoline to store all the outdoor toys and keep them in good shape. ... show more

We love this trampoline. It is large enough for two teens and a child comfortably, even an occasional parent or dog thrown in. It withstood fairly strong winds with no ripping of the safety net. We did weigh it down and put trampoline stakes over the supports. We kind of live in a wind tunnel and the first strong winds we had worried me a lot but the trampoline held up like a champ. Ok bought this for my 5 year old daughter. I had one day to put it up (day before Christmas Eve) I didn't think I would have enough time but it took me roughly 4 hours to put it together with help from a buddy Instructions were good. All parts there even got an extra spring. Hardest part was putting the initial top ring together. They don't snap together just kinda slide and and wants to fall apart when you get it together. I solved this problem by holding a few pieces together with duck tape. It's all covered by the pad anyways. The springs and jump tarp is what holds it all together very nicely. And pain was lacing the bottom of the net with the supplied Paracord. Very time consuming (took an hour) and you'll think you don't have enough cord but there enough! It seems well made and sturdy. I deducted one star because whatever they make the padded ring that covers the springs out of is very soft and wears away easy. When I was lacing the bottom of the net to the trampoline just the act of pulling the para cord ate through the rubber coating of the pads. It chewed up a few spots and once I realized what I was doing I was more careful and no more damage. I worry that the padded spring cover will not last it's so wearable. It would be PITA to replace you'd have to take EVERYTHING off the top (poles, net, lacing) to replace it so I hope it lasts! ... show more
