Description

Habanero peppers are quite hot compare to a jalapeno but are still not as hot as a scotch bonnet or Carolina reaper. Our habanero hot pepper seeds have a Scoville heat unit of 100,000 - 350,000. For a successful planting, start your hot pepper seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Do not put your little plant transplants into the ground until all danger of frost and cold weather has passed. All of our seeds, including our habanero seeds, are proudly grown and packaged in the USA. We are a small family-owned (husband and wife team) and operated business. Thanks for supporting our small business. These habanero seeds are heirloom, open-pollinated, and non-gmo. You can save your seeds from your harvest for future gardens. Add a habanero to your favorite salsa recipe. They are also great to spice up any dish. Habanero seed is perfect for: That man or woman who loves hot peppers. Someone really into salsa and making their own hot-sauces. An avid gardener looking to try a new variety. That mom or dad who seems to have everything. We are sure you'll love your peppers seeds as much as us, but if your unsatisfied, please message us.

  • Great!
Every seed I planted has sprouted!

  • The real thing
Other chillies from this brand have had very little heat. Not these! They'll take your head off. Very attractive yellow fruits.

  • VERY slow to germinate
I can't speak to flavor because these seeds have only just produced small plants, 3 weeks after putting them in growth pods. 80% have come up so far.

  • Germinates well.
I tossed a few on a seed starting tray in feb so it would be ready for transplant after the frost. It germinated really well. I tossed a few pepper seeds in each tray to guarantee germination but all seeds I tossed in germinated. Just waiting for it to grow more to pick one to keep and thin the rest. It seems to grow well under the grow light and didn't have any issues with it so far. ... show more

Did not grow

  • Alot of the seed will not sprout.
I have been trying to get these seeds to sprout and so far have only been lucky with one. I did the classic egg carton, putting them in water at first, and planting them directly in soil. The only one that has worked so far is the direct to soil but again, only one has sprouted after weeks of trying. ... show more
