Description

Peace Lily features solid, green foliage. The Peace Lily is great for tabletops. It does well in spaces that have bright, indirect sunlight. Place Peace Lily in a spot that receives bright light (5 or more hours). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 1 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let Peace Lily sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at dispatch is approximately 15-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Peace Lily is a moderate grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Peace Lily, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. This plant is considered hardy in USDA Zone 10b-11.Be aware of third-party sellers; other companies try to imitate our quality.     • Beautiful and healthy peace lily, with really big leaves.
I love the Peace Lily plant. Not only are they pretty when they bloom (and the blooms are generally long lasting), but for me, they have been really easy to care for. I do not have a green thumb when it comes to plants, and oftentimes, when I am taking care of plants, even when it seems like I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing correctly, the plant ends up succumbing to an early death for reasons unknown. The Peace Lily is one plant that, despite my not ever following directions as to appropriate care (at least based upon the instructions that came with this plant), I have managed to keep happy, blooming, disease free and alive for years until just recently, when I forgot to water it and it died off. So I wanted to replace that original peace lily plant with another one - in part because I missed having such a cooperative plant, but I also liked the pot I had mine in and wanted to reuse it for another plant in the same place. So I purchased this plant from Amazon. It arrived really in very good overall condition. Shipping time took about a week (Florida to New Jersey and over a weekend) - and when it arrived and I opened it up, the new peace lily was in bloom, though the blooms were about done for and already browning out. The plant only had one dead leaf on it though, but everything else to do with it was thriving, though a bit out of shape, having been shipped from around a thousand miles away. The packaging of this plant for shipping was amazing - it's pot was wrapped tightly in saran type plastic wrap, held in place by bamboo stakes which kept virtually all the soil within its pot and the stakes also helped provide support to plant as well, and the shipping carton was designed to hold the plant securely in place. The plant itself was potted in a typical green plastic nursery container, which fits perfectly inside the decorative plastic flower pot that comes with it. The outer flower pot is very good looking, so much so that even up close, it truly looks like it was made from clay, rather than plastic, so I chose to keep this plant in that pot, rather than using my old one that I originally intended. Overall, this peace lily plant is still doing very well and looks great. My big struggle is deciding whether to follow the care instructions that came with this plant, or do what I always did with my old peace lily, which kept that one alive and healthy for years (though often left its roots sitting in water for days at a time) until a lack of water did it in. If you are in the market for a peace lily, I would recommend considering Costa Farms for purchasing one, but know that the one you will get from them is likely not going to be small in size (even if the height of the lily is matches its description perfectly). So if your space is limited in size for that plant, you might do better purchasing one in person elsewhere, (or you could prune the one you get) so you know the plant will fit your space. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful condition of this plant after shipping. I received it yesterday and repotted it today. The leaves are so nice and glossy they almost look fake! It’s slightly droopy now I assume from traveling but I’ve had these before and I think it’ll perk right up now that I’ve watered it and given it a proper pot. Just rolled with the doggy photo bomb. I’m only docking a star because it didn’t come with the “decorative planter” in the item description. I would have happily paid a couple bucks less for the temporary black planter it came in. Was planning to put a smaller plant in the decorative pot it was supposed to come with. 2nd pic is what it actually arrived in. ... show more

It arrived in great shape and with tons of flowers, they lasted about 3 weeks and then turned brown and died but leaves are green and lush and some new flowers are coming up, although they are much shorter than the ones that were on it when it arrived. Overall, a great purchase, I was really worried to buy a plant online, but I'd say it was as good as buying one in-store, you never know until a few weeks in how things are going to go. I bought this for my mom for mother's day. She used to have a bunch of peace lilly plants for decades, but unfortunately had to leave them behind during a move. I thought it would be so special to gift her with a new one. Shipping was so fast and it even arrived early! I had looked at other websites and most were up to three weeks for delivery, which I completely understand, but I am just so thankful I found this seller. It arrived in PERFECT condition. I've never purchased a live plant before so I didn't know what to expect. It is so full, green, beautiful, looks extremely well cared for, and like I had just picked it up at a nursery! There are a couple of flowers on it and I can see where there are a bunch that will very soon bloom! My only thing was that the decorative pot it came in doesn't have drainage, but that is an easy fix!! I am so happy with this seller and I absolutely will be checking out more plants from them. I recently purchased a lamp with shelves and have been wanting to add live plants to each shelf, just haven't found the time to go out. I didn't know ordering plants online could be so seamless.
