I bought this and mounted it on my rear window. It works as intended. Until it didn’t. I noticed after about 6 months of light to moderate use that it wasn’t working. I checked and the batteries were dead. Easy fix. Replaced with quality batteries and that’s when I discovered it wouldn’t respond to the remote. The remote battery is good. The red light flickers. The unit simply doesn’t respond anymore. I found a YouTube video showing how to repair it. I attempted this many times to no avail. I have reached out to the manufacturer via their website and social media. They have yet to respond after several weeks. For this reason I give a 1 star review. Update- I finally got in touch with the company. They had some personal issues going on that caused the delay. They replaced my unit free of charge. I am changing the rating to 5 stars as this was the one bad thing I had to say and it has been resolved. ... show more

Wish I had this years ago, use it multiple times a day usually. Also after 3’months it was time for new batteries so i replaced those what I found out is you have to click the remote within 5 seconds of putting in the last battery so the remote will pair again. Still kind of unclear how to go about changing battery in the remote once it goes out but it’s the watch type and probably lasts awhile. ... show more

i love this thing! i got this for my mom in law for xmas and she loves it. batteries were easy to install and i love how you can mount the remote for easy access!!! i’m not sure if this will show up too bright for darker tinted windows but it shows up fine for her car :)
