This product is great it’s fun and easy to put together! The customer service is phenomenal. My I was disappointed that my first round of seeds didn’t germinate but they give you plenty of seeds to keep trying. I decided to start this project in January in the northeast so I wasn’t surprised when it didn’t grow. Now I have multiple sprouts growing! I had high hopes for this product, especially after spending 20 years in the nursery business. Bonsai has always been a relaxing hobby for me, but this kit was disappointing from the start. The materials felt cheap, and the overall quality was lacking. I followed the instructions carefully, but the seeds never sprouted. I gave it another shot with a second set, and within three days, the container cracked, spilling coco coir everywhere. Unfortunately, this was a letdown—wouldn’t recommend. ... show more

I love this item! I followed the instructions (thank you for an actual paper printed instruction booklet vs an online instruction) and was really excited to watch my bonsai develop. Unfortunately, the pot shattered the day after planting. That is the only reason for 4 stars vs 5. The instructions, the equipment, everything was nicer quality than expected. This would be a lovely gift for a child as a project to do together and to introduce them to gardening. ... show more

The instructions that came with this kit are amazing. Walking you through every step. I could tell just by the high quality of that, that I had made a great purchase. Every seed I have planted has sprouted. No issues. I did put my pot on a plant heating pad to try and keep the dirt warm, and I think the heat split the pot. I don’t even care about that, I’m just so elated that all the seeds sprouted! Can’t wait to see all my little plants grow up!! ... show more

This is the little seedling packet that could. I have been very interested in watching its progress over time from my work desk. That’s why I have a ton of pictures! I got sick during my 24 hour water soaking phase and didn’t get my Jacaranda seeds planted until 36-40 hours after I started soaking them. 😅 They were very forgiving and about a week after I planted them I started seeing little sprouts 🌱 popping up. About 2 weeks after planting I got a little greedy and split the shoots into mutiple containers. I am now a month into it and they are continuing to grow healthy as can be. Part of the group that was split out went to another desk next to mine without a simple light bar over it. The size difference was dramatic after a week. I highly recommend trying this! I’m only a month into but it’s been fun to watch even if patience is hard…. If in doubt give it a try! ... show more

I had to go out and buy a new pot the one it came with was broken when I opened the box so that sucked I was eager to plant my seeds but I soaked them in water for a night which gave me time to get a new one we’ll see how they grow but the instructions were clear and easy everything looks nice pretty good value for the money minus the broken pot which doesn’t seem that great to begin with ... show more

Planted four seeds 5 weeks ago with the soil given. Placed in a plastic container with plastic wrap over top. Sprinkled soil weekly and recovered. Started sprouting after third weeks. Three of the four seeds sprout and was also given many extra seeds.
