Honestly, after going through my gardening journal and seeing what I paid for with Ferry Morris and Burpee the last 2 years and comparing their current prices with very little to show for the previous seeds I ordered these because they were cheaper. Within days these have began germinating at 90 percent already. I had also watched a ton of you random utube video’s and I noticed, not that they were mentioned, but in the background these seed packets. Since I am an elevated beds, backyard Gardner I don’t have room for the watermelon, melon or wildflower seeds at this time but at literally a $1 price per packet vs $ 2.79 to $4.99 current prices for the brands I usually buy who cares. Not only are these economical, their germination rates are superior, there is not only a variety of spring and summer seeds with enough leftover for succession sowing but a variety of seeds for a fall gardening. Each set of seeds are not for cold weather. I am a beginner and looked for just cold weather plants and this came up. I will recommend you buy but do your research on what to plant from the pack in your area.

I bought this kit as an entree to get back into both indoor and outdoor gardening as a hobby, if anything I greatly underestimated how many of these seeds would germ in both conditions, meaning so many of these seeds actually sprouted I had to transplant quite a few sprouts around early on. I’ve tried a majority of the seeds and all of the seeds I’ve tried have had very high germ % the downside with this kit is there’s maybe around 30 seeds in each pack, this is a fair amount for the price and what you get in I think and each individual pack of seeds tells you the method in which to get more seeds for free from you plants (though it might take a year or so) Overall I’d say this is great starting pack for someone looking for variety to get into the hobby with high quality seeds ... show more
