Description

Enjoy the beauty of Peace Lily, which features solid, green foliage and is fantastic for tabletops. Grow Peace Lily in bright, indirect sunlight. Water it about once a week with approximately 1 cup. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Peace Lily sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 15-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Peace Lily arrives in a 6-inch ceramic planter. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Peace Lily is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with plant food labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Peace Lily outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wide container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 10b-11.Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes only.

When I made this order I didn’t think it completely through after and then after I purchased I realized I had just ordered this plant and it is a AZ summer and 100* outside! But I had already ordered it and I was down for the adventure. My expectations were to find a wilted dead plant and then I was going to have to figure out how to return it. When it finally arrived at my house to my surprise it was Beautiful!! I was impressed with the packaging. The lily was still deep green with broad leaves and 3 small white blooms in the center. It looked perfect not at all like it had been shipped in the middle of summer. The plant was physically hot so immediately I took it out of the box and pot so it could cool down.Upon inspection I did take and Pune 3 leaves and a blossom because they were yellowing. I watered it, misted the leaves really well and I put it in my window for about a week so the plant to rest and recover and also get semi acclimated to its new environment. I noticed that there were a ton of roots and it looked like there was no top soil at all. I needed up just sprinkling some plain soil on the top so no more pots would be exposed and moisture would stay in the plant. About a week later I did a complete soil change. It was in the wrong type of soil, the roots needed help and I really like doing this with my new plants because it allows me to assess where they are and address issues if needed. So I found that this plant needed a bigger pot it had really grown out of the one they sent. I could see the roots and how the bad it was rootbound. It took me forever to try to tame it by trying to rinse what soil I could the roots were just extremely dense and tangled. I was able to remove some dead roots and beyond that it was very healthy. It did not come in the proper soil mix so I took care of that as well. This plant is just beautiful and fun and really good quality! Lowe’s and Homedepot have nothing on this company and I would order from them again no question! ... show more

    • Disappointed with the quality of this plant.
This poor plant has been slowly dying off since I purchased it last year. Despite great care, it has not thrived. I am not a novice with growing plants and usually have no problem with growing & tending many different varieties of plants and flowers, I’m disappointed this peace lily has struggled and will most likely not survive. ... show more

The peace lily plant arrived well packaged and undamaged. Full and healthy and a nice size, a good 15-inches with flowers about to bloom. I set if in a sunny spot for leaves to unfurl and plant to fully acclimate. looks great anywhere you need a pop of greenery. Very beautiful peace lily plant arriving in great condition. Packaging protection was very professional and should have been more than adequate for shipment, but the decorative clay pot it came in did arrive broken. The plant itself is great, came in great condition, but it did not come with the "Premium Scheurich Ceramic Planter" as specifically advertised in this listing. It came with a heart planter that does not match anything I've got so I'll have to buy a new one. If you're including the beautiful pot as part of your decision you may be disappointed. If you are just interested in the plant regardless of the pot it is large and beautiful, and all of the Costs Farms plants that I've bought in the past are still doing great after many months. ... show more
