This is the first houseplant that I have ordered online. I was a little concerned about the quality but all my worries are put to rest. The Costa Farms have wonderful plants and it was shipped in a sturdy box with no damage to the plant. It is growing well and is a nice addition to my houseplants. Order your next Fig Leaf plant from Costa Farms and watch it grow. The secret is not to overwater and never let your houseplants sit in water. Most beautiful and healthy plants. I've gotten a dozen+ in the last few months to fill my new apartment and soul. Not one arrived sick or thin. All are better than expected. The decorative pots are a steal at just a few dollars more. Great quality soil. I'll be back to Costa again.

Update: I thought the leaves on this fig were necrotic from the sun hitting them, but I found out today it was infested with bugs the whole time. I believe they are spider mites, because it had a webbing before I took the photo. The last 3 photos are after I cleaned and sprayed. It infested all plants around it. I am very unhappy - - - especially given the cost I paid for this plant. I have other Costa Farms plants I've purchased from stores--only one is doing well. The rest have brown spot or something else. Another update : it has been a few weeks and several more leaves have fallen--only 8 leaves left on the plant and a couple of those are brown spotted. Looks nothing like the photo and cost much more than the plant is worth. I could have gotten one in a nice, glass pot for 1/3 of the price. Not worth it. Hopefully it will live, but not sure. Will update. Update: It has been a few days and 3 more leaves fell off today. I posted another couple photos, the last 2 photos are 4 days after I received plant. Definitely not worth $30. Looks nothing like the description photo. I brought the plant inside as soon as I received it. It was packaged nicely, most of the dirt still in the pot, though the plant in the description photo looks much bigger than the plant I received. The plant I received is only about 6 inches tall. It may say so in description, but the photo does make it seem larger. When I took the plant out, half the leaves were dead and fell off. The first photo is directly after I received the plant. I watered, placed in the included pot last night--the night I received the plant. Today, it looks much healthier and happier--I included 2 next day photos above. I will update as time goes by---hopefully everything will turn out and the leaves will grow back. If so, I would consider ordering from this company again in the future, but, as of now, I believe the cost was a little high for such a small plant with half the leaves gone. In my opinion, $30 is alot of money for this small a plant. ... show more

    • *UPDATED* Costa Farms stands by their products

I was so excited for this fiddle leaf plant from Costa Farms. I opened the box immediately so it wouldn't suffocate or die from lack of light, but it looked like it was boxed weeks earlier. The lower, older leaves were brown and cracked and covered in a white dust. The upper, newer leaves were limp and are barely hanging on. I repotted it, cleaned the leaves (carefully), put near a window with good indirect light and made sure the soil is not overwatered. Less than a week later the leaves are falling off and the remaining ones have brown spots. There is no way this was a fresh healthy plant that was packaged to order. I cannot recommended Costa Farms if they are not willing to replace it. ***UPDATE*** Costa Farms made good and shipped a replacement tree that is a true 4ft tree full of leaves and healthier than the previous one. Still not sure I would buy plants online again but Costa stands by their products and that earns them a 4-star review ... show more

    • Great little table top plant

This was my first fiddle leaf fig plant. I've had it a year now, and it's doing great. Arrived healthy and a little shorter than 12" but close enough. Got it in the Spring and it's thrived. It's sprouted new leaves consistently and has about doubled in height. There are actually 2 main stalks, a much smaller 3rd, and even a new 4th branch now coming up. Only problem so far was overwatering (water with hydrogen peroxide) in the last few months in an attempt to rid my plants of fungus gnats that rode into the house on a new plant from Home Depot - grrr. A couple lower leaves started yellowing, but the plant is still putting out new growth. The leaves are snaller than my full hand - new ones unfurl freckled, surprising small and continue to get larger and just green over time. Interesting to watch. Loving this new plant, and happy it's happy in it's new home. ... show more

She arrived in my Chicago,IL ☺️. She was a tad dusty and her leafs were a tad dry. I decided to clean and coat each fiddle leaf with very warm water and a teaspoon of Neem oil and she seemed to relax and love my TLC. I will treat her once a week with enough TLC, indirect Bright light and waterings will be done when her soil dries out. This is my first Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree and she is BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY. WISH ME LUCK ❤️ (update 08/05/23) My First Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree is growing and doing much better. Then I bought a second one.... 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 08/05/2023 UPDATE. My 6 FT FIDDLE LEAF FIG TREE ARRIVED. She was very root bound with healthy roots but she has a mild fungal infection :( She still looks strong enough to recover so wish me luck. 😅. She is only 5'5" or so. Not 6ft. :( Due to the poor shape she was in when she arrived. I dropped my rating to 3 Stars. :(. She lost about 25% of her leafs and some had to be removed due to infection:(. I repotted her in a 16in pot (2-3 inches bigger then her circumference). I'm really hoping she rebounds like my first FIDDLE LEAF FIG TREE 😘 ... show more
