Description

Hand-selected grower's choice varieties by the expert growers at Costa Farms, the O2 for you collection includes the most efficient, natural air-purifying plants around. These plants are scientifically proven by NASA to be some of the very best plants for clean air. In general, place the plants in a bright spot, but not directly in sunlight. If the container does not have holes, use approximately half a cup of water, adjust as needed for your environment. The height at dispatch ranges from 10-15 inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Each plant is potted in a lightweight, 4-inch grower’s pot; made from a 100% recyclable 5 material. To help with water drainage, these containers have holes. The plants an range from slow to quick growing and are hardy in USDA Zone 10. Give them a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for house plants. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the plant, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. Be aware of third-party sellers; other companies try to imitate our quality. There are no other authorized Costa Farms sellers. These plants are totally worth the price, I was looking for a nice option of smaller plants for my bathroom, and these are so great. They are beautiful plants, just the right size, they were packaged well and arrived very fresh and healthy. I am so pleasantly surprised at how nice these plants are! I did have to add a little soil to make sure they have enough when I moved them from the shipping planters into the pots, but overall this is an excellent deal! Be sure to unpack them right away, if they sit in the box without sunlight, additional soil, or appropriate water they probably won't do as well, but mine are currently thriving. ... show more

They came in such a small box I thought I only got one of my plants delivered and the delivery driver forgot my other three but they were all in the same box and packed very well. They arrived on time, freshly watered and in great shape. They gave me a Galaxy false Aralia, a Ruby Red Fittonia nerve plant, a Petra Croton and a Pepperomia Obtusifolia (baby rubber plant, but not related to a rubber plant). Plants arrived in a tall box that said KEEP UPRIGHT, that was nice. I opened the box and each plant (6) had paper wrapping secured around each, with a bamboo stake, that was nice. The first pkg I opened, was the first image here, a Rex Begonia. It was clearly in very poor condition, in fact basically dead. I use an app called PictureThis; you take a pic of your plant and up pops all the information about it, its name how to care for it, and so on. The app itself read YOUR PLANT IS SICK .... I set it aside, unwrapped the 2nd plant, 2nd image. That is called Croton. All the plants were tightly wrapped with saran wrap, difficult to get access to the plant itself, all plants had the bamboo stake as mentioned, with the saran wrap wrapped around that too. The Croton was droopy, green leaves laying listless and the soil was dry. Gave it water right away. I could see it is an unusual plant, will be quite pretty when healthy. Went about unwrapping the rest, which were in pretty good condition, although the Golden Pothos (4th and 5th images) is SO root bound you can see the mound of roots sticking OUT of the pot! The 3rd plant/image is called Nerve Plant. The 6th image is a TREE! False Aralia grows 25 - 50 Feet HIGH and approx 7 feet around! It is on the Wild Endangered List and is not expected to survive - that makes this Aralia Tree very special to me. It also is root bound. But I intend on repotting all of them so, not really an issue. The last image is of Satin Pothos and as are the other, it also is quite root bound. For the poor Rex Begonia, I cut everything off, took it out the squashed pot, washed all the dirt away, and found there were actually 5 little plants. I repotted with Coir and Worm Castings and put in my quarantine sick bay. I sincerely hope it comes back to life. I feel the supplier, Costa Farms, should just send me a healthy Rex Begonia! It is a very pretty plant and I would like it for my inside garden. After or when, these plants settle themselves and grow, I'll provide an update. Thank you. ... show more

I ordered this multipack of starter plants and the seller gets to choose what you receive. I'm happy to say that I received a really nice assortment. Each one different and pleasing to the eye. The size of the plants were actually nice for the price and they were in good health. Out of the four one of them wasn't as robust looking as the rest, but it was healthy and will grow to be nice I'm sure. It came with instructions for watering and fertilizing it. I ordered 5 plants from Costa farms on July19th some finally arrived today 27th.1 arrived on the28th. Out of the 3plants that I purchased together for $33 only one is likely to survive. As you can see in the pictures one was completely rotted out and dead, the other one has lost half its leaves and are brown. The last one has several brown leaves also but may be ok. I tried returning through Amazon but it said they weren't refundable and to contact Costa which I did. I received an email from them today and was able to get a refund for the 3pk of plants that are pictured. Which is why I updated my stars from 1 to 3. I will say the fiddle leaf fig that was $29 is decent, but I had to cut 3 leaves off that had yellow spot fungus on them, hoping the rest won't get the fungus. The ZZ plant that arrived today seems healthy. I'm disappointed that the 3 plants didn't come healthy. The rotten one had to have looked bad when it was packed as I have had plants for decades and don't believe it got that way from shipping. The other 2 they said looked like heat damage 🤔 I'm glad Costa made it right. I may even order more plants in the future. ... show more
