When delivered, it’s about 36 to 48-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Fiddle Leaf Fig arrives in a 10-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Fiddle Leaf Fig is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Fiddle Leaf Fig outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Exactly as advertised. This is my fourth purchase from Costa Farms. They do a really good job with the packaging most of the time it’s 99.99% intact if not 100% intact. Delivery is quick because we live in the same state. And have nothing negative to say. The plant came healthy. Looks great and exactly like the picture size. All the purchases come exactly as advertisement and described. The packaging is very simple, open at the top, rip on the side take your plant out and you’re done. Update: I uploaded images of 5 feet fiddle leaf versions. I was going to do a separate review but it doesn’t allow me because it’s the same product different size. Both of them came in healthy. I was a little worried at the beginning because I missed a delivery by mistake. So they were held two days extra instead of two days delivery so that was a total four days they were packaged perfectly. Luckily, they had no damage on them. Letting them soak outside in the water/sun for a bit before repotting and bringing them and door. UPDATE: 2/5/2024 Everything in the review still holds true the only thing I would be a little bit careful for that one of the trees that are 5 feet came in more leaning on the right side, than directly growing in the center so what happened is that the roots and everything was very well established, except the was only one branch growing directly in the center, while the other five were going directly on the right side, making a tilt over. This is not the fault of the grower. It was just grown that way and probably nobody noticed it. It wasn't noticeable inside the box, but once taken out and watered and let it spread out a little bit. I would not be able to be put inside of a vase for indoors, (I tried) since it would lean on the 4 o'clock angle versus straight. I could have straighten it by force by tying it down/stake but the tree is very well developed with a lot of leaves it's pretty much already set in stone. I didn't want to return it because it would be too clumsy and I had no room for it outdoors. Luckily, Amazon customer support was helpful and they gave me a refund. Totally unexpected. Like I said, this is probably a fluke every other item bought by coastal Farm came in perfectly. I would be a little bit more careful for the larger trees like these you would probably want to contact them and ask them to specifically look from one that's more straight in the center. ... show more

Update: I thought the leaves on this fig were necrotic from the sun hitting them, but I found out today it was infested with bugs the whole time. I believe they are spider mites, because it had a webbing before I took the photo. The last 3 photos are after I cleaned and sprayed. It infested all plants around it. I am very unhappy - - - especially given the cost I paid for this plant. I have other Costa Farms plants I've purchased from stores--only one is doing well. The rest have brown spot or something else. Another update : it has been a few weeks and several more leaves have fallen--only 8 leaves left on the plant and a couple of those are brown spotted. Looks nothing like the photo and cost much more than the plant is worth. I could have gotten one in a nice, glass pot for 1/3 of the price. Not worth it. Hopefully it will live, but not sure. Will update. Update: It has been a few days and 3 more leaves fell off today. I posted another couple photos, the last 2 photos are 4 days after I received plant. Definitely not worth $30. Looks nothing like the description photo. I brought the plant inside as soon as I received it. It was packaged nicely, most of the dirt still in the pot, though the plant in the description photo looks much bigger than the plant I received. The plant I received is only about 6 inches tall. It may say so in description, but the photo does make it seem larger. When I took the plant out, half the leaves were dead and fell off. The first photo is directly after I received the plant. I watered, placed in the included pot last night--the night I received the plant. Today, it looks much healthier and happier--I included 2 next day photos above. I will update as time goes by---hopefully everything will turn out and the leaves will grow back. If so, I would consider ordering from this company again in the future, but, as of now, I believe the cost was a little high for such a small plant with half the leaves gone. This is the first houseplant that I have ordered online. I was a little concerned about the quality but all my worries are put to rest. The Costa Farms have wonderful plants and it was shipped in a sturdy box with no damage to the plant. It is growing well and is a nice addition to my houseplants. Order your next Fig Leaf plant from Costa Farms and watch it grow. The secret is not to overwater and never let your houseplants sit in water.
