Even with flour or semolina, I struggled with the metal peel but this one is <chef's kiss>. I gave it a four in durability because the first pie we cut on the peel and there are already marks, which I didn't expect the first go. That is likely user error and not Ooni's fault. Features are all five stars - easy to clean, durable and sturdy, however, I would not buy it again since it only serves a prep board or cutting board with a handle. The board is too thick to slide the pizza into or out of the oven. I have found that a thin metal peel is more effective and there is little need in my kitchen for another cutting board with a handle. ... show more

Perfect for our 12” oven. Needs very light flour covering and the dough slides right off. While it looks durable, i wouldn’t put it in a dishwasher.

This wooden pizza peel is great for putting pizza in the oven. the raw pizza with a little flour slips right off. However, the angle is too steep to be effective at getting the pizza out of the oven. Recommend both the wooden and the metal pizza peels, one to put the pizza in the oven and the other to take it out. Having two peels also speeds up the prep for the next pizza.
