I bought this with the Cuisinart pizza oven several months ago. We use it at least 2x weekly and it has been durable so far. It isn't super heavy and is easy to carry. The size perfectly fits a 12" pizza and the Cuisinart pizza oven opening. It is fairly easy to use - we use it for both putting in and taking out pizzas. It requires a fair amount of flour to get the pizza off into the oven, but removing or turning the pizza is super easy with it. It is functional and a good deal for the price compared to other options. I find it easiest to roll out my pizza, flour this, place the crust on, and then top it.     • Sturdy and does its job
This is the second peel I’ve purchased. (Same one). I like it because it’s a lot sturdier than others I’ve used. Plus it folds in half and is easier to store. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I used this when I make pizza on my stone I. The oven. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because I think the steel part could be a bit heavier.

Happy with this. I do wish it had a better depiction of how to screw it together -- what order do the washers go in? The handle must go on top in order to make the turn and shorten the peel for storage. Happy with it. I just have to remember to be careful carrying it from the grill to the table, lol. Once baked, the pizza WILL slide off. I don't think I'd like it to have edges on the sides, however -- more surface to work with. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this product! I just bought a pizza oven and searched around for the best pizza peel and ended up getting this one. It shipped so fast and was super easy to put together! The handle comes with a string and a hole for easy storage and the handle also flips around to save space while storing. This product works great, as I’m able to transfer a pizza to it or even build a pizza right on it before transferring into the oven. It also allows for easy rotating and removal once the pizza is cooked. Bought both our daughters pizza ovens for Christmas. This peel fits perfectly, makes a nice size pizza and seems sturdy. The handle folds down for storage; hopefully that feature stays working. Easy cleanup.

I like that I can fold in the handle to save space. I like that the handle will keep me from getting burned. I appreciate that the flat portion is metal. Sized perfectly for my outside pizza oven.

    • Works but that handle takes some getting used to
Love that this peel is lightweight, thin but sturdy, and the handle is moveable which allows for easy storage. However, getting used to the handle turning which you're trying to put the pizza in OR taking the pizza out takes some getting used to. Despite tightening the screw, I find that the handle still wiggles a bit. Once you get used to it, it's OK. You also have to flour the peel to prevent the dough from sticking (but I suppose that's with all peels not just this one) ... show more
