I am very happy with this conversation set so far! My main positives are: 1. Assembly is very straightforward and pretty easy (once you get the screws lined up), as it involves 4 screws (needed Allen wrench is also included). The instructions state that you should have 2 people for assembly, and given the size of this furniture, it will definitely make it easier with 2 people. I did manage to do it myself, but it was a bit of a struggle to line up the screw holes and hold the backrest in place while performing the assembly. 2. I really like the cushions in the set. The come vacuum packaged in the ottoman, but they fluffed back up pretty quickly once I took them out. They are fluffy and comfortable to sit on, and I do like that the ottoman cushion has straps to keep it attached (I wish the chair also had something similar, but it is just with the ottoman). 3. The customer service was very easy to work with. I had received this product when this was a conversation set (so, 4 pcs - two ottomans and chairs), and only one of the two had been sent to me in the initial package. Customer service responded to my email inquiry within an hour, and they had the second one sent to me the very next day. I was very impressed with the overall quality of service from this company. My main negative is that the two bigger cushions don't fit inside the ottoman (only the one for the backrest does). I like to keep the cushions covered when not in use, so it would have been great if that could have just been done all within. Also, just for reference, I did want to mention that the ottoman does not fit under the chair with the cushion; you have to remove it first. Overall, I would recommend this set! ... show more

    • Comfy and flexible, but make sure to cover them if they could be exposed to rain
Overall I really like these chairs and they've been a nice addition to our back deck. One thing that we discovered quickly though is that they definitely need to be covered. The day after I set them up it rained all day and I didn't have covers yet, so I got to see how they handled that. Not well. After that, it was dry and sunny for the next 3-4 days, but the chair cushions were still soaking wet and retaining water like a sponge. We were replacing a similar wicker-styled outdoor sofa that had quick-dry cushions that were never a problem, they would dry out quickly and it was never a problem to leave it uncovered. I was hoping that would be the case with these, but not so. After purchasing covers for them, I'm liking them. Comfortable and flexible in how you can use them, since they have the detachable ottoman that can be stored underneath (if you remove the cushion) or used as storage itself. Each piece is light and moves around easily, but they do feel solid. One other thing of note: I actually wasn't sure if I was ordering one or two of these chairs, but you do indeed get two of them: two chairs, each with its own ottoman. The listing wasn't entirely clear about this in my opinion, and then at first only one arrived, and my reaction was "oh, I must have misinterpreted, there's only one of them." But then a few days later, the other one arrived! ... show more

    • Easy 5 minute assembly, comfortable set
The only assembly required is 4 screws to secure the back rest. The ottoman has a hinged lid for storage. The only cushion that fits inside without smashing it is the back pillow. The ottoman can’t be pulled out when seated because the seat sags and hangs down in the way. It does have a metal frame but the seat portion is held up by braided faux wicker. The wicker is a medium shade of grey & it’s wrapped quite well, not loose or sloppy. The chair and ottoman feel sturdy. The cushions come compressed but instantly sprang into shape. They are plump enough to provide good cushioning and the fabric looks and feels nice. It’s larger than I expected but the back rest is very short. I’ve been sitting in this daily now and really like the short backrest because it gives good lumbar support. The ottoman cushion has elastic bands to keep it in place. The ottoman is a close fit under the chair with a good sized storage area. This is a nice set and it’s very comfortable. I like that it’s a space saver but it would be better if the ottoman cushion fit inside because it doesn’t fit under the chair with cushion on the ottoman. If you’ll be leaving this out on the ground it’s best to store the back rest cushion in the ottoman because it’s larger than the backrest and easily falls off so I’m sure the wind will knock it down. I have mine on a covered porch so wind isn’t an issue. I have several porches and a lot of different seating areas and I find myself using this set a lot. ... show more

I love this 2 pack of chairs for my deck this summer! They are stylish and very well made with a steel frame underneath the rattan material. I also like that the ottoman can be packed up underneath the chair for storage if you have shorter covers for these. The cushions on them are thick and very comfortable to sit on. This is the perfect chair for sunbathing, entertaining, or sitting and reading a book. Because the ottoman separates, you can even use that as a separate seat if you have a lot of guests. There is assembly required; my husband was able to put these together in about 20 minutes and they were ready to go. One issue was that the material was powder coated and that rubbed onto the cushions so I had to dust them off. I do suggest getting covers for these to prevent weathering on the cushions and materials. Very high quality patio lounger set! I do wish they had traditional chair legs for the purpose of clipping covers to the legs. I had to tuck my cover underneath it to hold it down, but sometimes the wind shifts it upward some. ... show more
