I did not care for the strap but once I received the pillow, I realized that this is very important. You can switch sides during the night and the pillow stays with you easily. If you want to lie on your back, it’s also easy to rotate the pillow to sit on top of your leg and it is still comfortable that way. Another reason I chose this pillow is because it has a removable, washable cover. The cover is very soft and silky feeling. This pillow has been really helpful for side sleeping during pregnancy. I have it just above my knees and it relieves the pressure in my lower back. Very comfortable and just the right firmness. I like that the band helps it stay put and I can switch sides without having to readjust the pillow.

I like this pillow, it's not bulky, and very comfortable to use. I have found it beneficial even under my lower back, not only for leg support. The cover is removable and washable which is awesome. And the foam is nice and sturdy!

I was waking up with lower back pain so I decided to give this a try. I have not had any pain since using it. It’s very comfortable and the strap is great for keeping the pillow in place when I move around. Would definitely recommend.

As a side sleeper, I bought this cushion to alleviate pain in my knees. While this does separate my knees, there is very little give to this pillow. The hardness of the pillow did little to nothing at all to help my sore knees. Will most likely request a return as this cushion has no cushioning or softness at all. If you enjoy resting your knees on something a tiny bit softer than a block of wood, then you'll love this pillow. ... show more

I was advised to use a knee pillow to alleviate hip pain - this little pillow works great - the strap is a little loose for me - but it stays mostly in place when turning over - the removable cover for washing (haven't tried it, however) is a plus considering it is next to skin
