Love this... just roll over, pat bottom then pull out try and empty. Little advice, don't use thick litter that claims it's for 2 cats. This thick stuff does not let it operate properly. It still works, but you need to reach in and push straining gate back into position. Fine powdery litter makes the job of cleaning litter box 1 minute and your done. Ne mess to clean unless you have a sphinx cat like I have. They don't bury their waste therefore they walk in their waste and out onto the floor. I have purchased several of these boxes and have loved the rolling feature since the beginning. They have made a tremendous difference in how much litter I run through with three cats. (I roll it twice a day) They hold litter in fairly well if you have a digger, especially paired with a mat that collects the loose litter that does manage to escape. They are a little small if you have a bigger cat but my chunky boy used it without problems. BUT the reason I'll be switching to something else is the smell. (I will say I do suffer from migraines and it dont take much to set them off so it may be different for other people.) First it's fine, keeps the smell mostly in. I'd pull them apart and scrub them with soap and water every couple weeks and add baking soda to fresh litter to cut back on odors but after about 6-8 months the box itself holds the urine smell and no amount of scrubbing gets rid of it. ... show more

Hey, it's just a litter box, right! We've got 2 cats. One Oscar Madison and the other is like Felix Unger (one slob and one neat freak) It was a mess to clean up after them and I wasn't the one doing it (I do outside poop) Had this box about a week now. Cats accepted it right away and it does it job. Easy to roll and clean although the clumping litter sticks to the plastic but it did that in the old box as well. We're cleaning the box every day now instead of every 3 to 4 days and the mess is considerably less. Would I buy it again....yes. Could it be a little sturdier....yes. But it works and as long as it isn't tossed against a wall, I think it will last. ... show more

I bought the one with the turquoise top because it's easier to see with our macular degeneration. It cost over $70 so I thought it would be well made. Because of the design, we can't use a bag in it and the urine stuck like gum on a shoe. I had to disassemble it to pry it loose manually. Yes, some of the waste came around and into the drawer, but not enough. I got this for my disabled mother and I tried it and it is too much work. The drawer isn't a good fit, it's too loose and the latches seem cheaply made. As often as I would have to use them, I don't think it would last. It takes up a lot more floor space than our last litter box, but after watching the videos and reading the reviews, I thought it would be worth it. I just ordered a different type of litter box and will be cleaning this one up for Goodwill. It's such a waste, I thought it was a great idea but it didn't work for us. ... show more

This is an awesome concept, but for the price and for the time it’s been out on the market, one would think they’d make easy and necessary updates to the box itself. The clamps are very hard to get shut properly, as the cheap plastic didn’t line up well. I tried closing different clamps first to see if it made a difference, but one clamp would never properly lock as the plastic just wasn’t lined up correctly. This ended up being a huge problem, as when I roll the litter box over to clean it out, the top would unlatch and litter would spill out. I could fix this by duct taping the entire side together, but then I would have to take the duct tape on and off again whenever I’d need to clean the box or change the litter completely. The could also add some kind of strip between the hood and the base of the box so that fragments of litter cannot escape. When you roll it over as intended to do when you clean, fragments of litter escape, creating the need to vacuum each time you tip the box over- which kind of defeats the purpose. I really do like the concept of this and I know it would work beautifully if they just made simple adjustments to the design. It’s unfortunate that it’s been on the market this long now and they still haven’t figure out how to better their product. Otherwise it would be a perfect litter box! ... show more
