Compared to a regular boar brush or paddle brush, this helps get long hair dry in half the time. This #80 is pretty big but really helps straighten hair while giving gentle curve at the bottom. I keep the blow dryer at least 6 inches away from the brush.

I read a review that said this brush created such as nice finish that they didn’t even need to flat iron after drying. I thought that was not something that would apply to me since my hair is frizzy after I dry it. This brush creates a smooth, full look and no frizz! Love it. Best roller brush ever.

I already had the Olive garden 3.5 inch brush, and was satisfied with that, so I ordered the smaller diameter version. It meets my expectations as far as being easy to hold and stying power.
