I have multiple chronic pain health conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. My pain levels when I wake up every day are pretty day. But it had gotten to a nearly unbearable point, and I decided to try a new pillow. I've tried numerous pillows in the past looking for relief, but nothing really helped. After reading reviews, I took a chance on this one. I'm completely in love. It is THE most comfortable pillow I have ever tried, and my pain levels when I wake up are the lowest they've been in years. It took a little creativity to find what works best for me. The pillow on its own is too low for me, so I have another pillow under it. I also requested an extra insert by scanning the QR code they provide with the pillow (and which I received only a few days after I requested it), but putting the foam insert in the pillowcase, with the pillow was uncomfortable. I found that it filled in the head cradling area too much, and I woke up with some extra pain a few mornings. So I just took it out, and put it UNDER the pillow, on top of the second pillow, and it works perfectly. The area that cradles your head is so comfortable. I wear a Fitbit, and I even found that my deep and REM sleep levels increased after I started using it. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. Everyone is different, but I'd definitely say that this pillow is worth trying. And the price is good, too! I looked at other similar pillows that were more expensive, but so far, I do not feel like I wish I had spent the extra $$ on one of those. This one works really well! This is a quality pillow. I was so excited to order and get it since the contour cervical pillow I have been using I purchased from a chiropractor 35 years ago!! It has kind of gone flat the last 10 years. From the moment I opened the Amazon box, you could tell this is a quality product and a quality company. The inner box was colorful and well constructed. The pillow inside was packed in a zipper plastic bag. The information and printed material that came with the pillow shows that the pillow and company are high quality and care very much about the product and their customers. I highly recommend this pillow - but make sure you order the correct size for you and not "what you want" and then "hope it will work", which is what I did. I bought the king size because I wanted a longer pillow on my king size bed... the king size pillow is also taller/thicker. That is wherein the problem for me lies. It is almost 5" tall on the side with the cervical ramp and so far that has given me a neck ache; disappointing because I did not have a neck ache before. As instructed by the directions, I took a piece from the bottom center of the pillow to lower (make it thinner) the pillow. However, it lowers the part where you lay your head if you are a back sleeper, not the pillow sides which are the high part. That center area (dip) where you lay your head is not where my neck ache comes from. My neck aches because I am a side sleeper and I am putting my head on either side of the dip - which is the high part of the pillow. I even turned the pillow around to the lower side but that side does not have the cervical ramp nor the raised area on the sides of the dip for side sleeping. I am likely going to give up and go to another memory foam pillow I have that is not so tall. It doesn't give me a neck ache because it is lower. I am disappointed and wonder if I should have ordered the regular size which is not so thick. I have suffered with neck pain for such a long time. I woke up with cricks in my neck and woke up constantly trying to fold and adjust my pillows to support my neck. I’ve tried many different kinds of pillows, even expensive ones and none of them helped. I figured I’d give this a try based on the reviews and the affordable price, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! After using this pillow for only one night, I felt a huge difference.
