Description

DASUQUIN is the number one veterinarian recommended joint health brand that goes beyond standard glucosamine supplements. DASUQUIN combines NMX1000 ASU(avocado/soybean unsaponifiables) and decaffeinated tea with Glucosamine and sodium chondroitin sulfate to provide a comprehensive joint health formula. Research has shown that its specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating cartilage matrix production, while ASU also acts synergistically with glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. DASUQUIN chewable tablets provide a tasty and convenient option for supporting your dog’s joint health!" Source: Among veterinary brands. Survey conducted among small animal veterinarians who recommended oral joint health supplements brands in US.

  • DO NOT GIVE THIS TO YOUR DOG - THIS IS NOT THE REAL FORMULA - PLEASE READ
Size: 84 Count Style: Large Dog (Over 60 lbs)
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THIS FORMULA, BUT EVERY TIME I GIVE THIS TO MY DOG SHE BECOME PARALYZED. THE FIRST TIME I GAVE IT TO HER, I DIDN'T PUT IT TOGETHER THAT THIS WAS CAUSING HER PARALYSIS. I THOUGHT SHE HAD FALLEN AND HURT HERSELF. WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ME GIVING THIS TO HER, SHE WAS BACK TO RUNNING AND JUMPING. THE NEXT DAY, I DIDN'T GIVE THESE TO HER AND SHE WAS FINE. I HAD ACTUALLY DECIDED TO SEE HOW SHE WAS GOING TO DO ON HER OWN. THE THIRD DAY, I GAVE THEM TO HER AND THE SAME THING AS THE FIRST DAY...ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT MOVE HER LEGS AT ALL. I AM TAKING THESE TO A LAB TO HAVE THEM TESTED. I DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! THIS IS NOT THE FORMULA YOUR VET WILL RECOMMEND. THIS IS A CHINESE BASED COMPANY. DO NOT GIVE THESE TO YOUR BABY..PLEASE!! ... show more

  • The surgeon and Teddy's Vet recommended a switch to Dasuguin with MSN rather than Cosequin ...
Size: 150 Count Style: Large Dog (Over 60 lbs)
Our 100 pound Golden Retriever has had surgeries on both knees. Now, we confront osteoarthritis. The surgeon and Teddy's Vet recommended a switch to Dasuguin with MSN rather than Cosequin for Teddy's joints. Our eight year old is acting like he is four! Teddy springs into the air on his hind legs to jump up on my bed. Note, Teddy is now on Tramadol, a human drug. Tramadol retails at $217 per month. Banfield/Petsmart sells it for about $135 on their wellness plan. With his own Rewards prescription card at Walgreens the price drops to $99. Using a coupon that came with the grocery flyers the cost is now $79 per month. As both Dasuquin and Tramadol are a result of surgery, so Teddy's HEALTHY PAWS INSURANCE covers 80%. We only pay $16 per month. We strongly support the Banfield Wellness plan at $32/month which includes one tooth cleaning per year, (Normally costing $275). Evidently, half of all dogs die from a problem in their mouth. If it had not been for Healthy Paws insurance, ($30/month excluding pre-existing conditions), we may have been considering putting Teddy to sleep. The day we learned Teddy would need his first surgery, the Vet could not get him onto the X-Ray table. I had to help. I found myself looking into Teddy's eyes as I said, "It's ok." I never want to again see the fear I saw in Teddy's eyes that day. We believe that loving a dog or cat is giving them the same health coverage we would give to a human child. ... show more

  • 12 y/o Labrador moving again
Size: 84 Count Style: Small/Medium Dog (Under 60 lbs)
I'm not going to lie, I only bought this because my neighbor twisted my arm for so long about it. Heres our backstory: I have a 12 y/o yellow lab with arthritis and hip dysplasia, not to mention half of his life he was overweight. I got his weight down when I got him but he always had a slight limp from being kicked by a horse as a puppy. He's been on an aspirin regiment, he'd had steroids, essential oils, creams, etc. for his hips/joints and cosequin stopped working after a while. Now this last year he's only gotten up to go to the bathroom and when I went on walks so his muscles have deteriorated significantly and I have to pull him up most of the time. Fast forward to him being on the small/medium dog dose for a couple of days ( its expensive and I couldn't afford the large dog bag at the time since only the 150 ct. was in stock) and he's up and walking around, most of the time he's able to get up by himself as long as it's a grip able surface, and he's got a bit of his old vigor back. I hadn't seen him play with a toy in 2-3 years and he has again. This stuff is completely worth every penny to improve his quality of life for a while longer. ... show more

  • Unbelievably quick and positive impact to our Boxer's arthritis & displasia
Size: 150 Count Style: Large Dog (Over 60 lbs)
Unbelievable. Our 7 year old slobbering hot mess of a boxer has blown ACL's (and TPLO surgery), hip displasia and arthritis. He was in good spirits (being a boxer that is a given) but was clearly in a lot of pain - watching him struggle up stairs and wince when sitting was absolutely heartbreaking. The surgical options offered were hip replacement and another TPLO - which was a high risk, high cost and tremendous negative impact on his quality of life. Heartbreaking. We had tried Dasuquin earlier (first blown ACL) with not results, and out of desperation tried it again. * FRIGGING MAGIC * Creaky hot mess got his puppy wiggles back. Yes, he still has the underlying physical issues, but he is moving MUCH more easily, demonstrates minimal distress (unless he's done something stupid like tear off after a deer), and is much more mobile and obviously happier. The morning & night dasoquin is a ritual that he absolutely loves and looks forwards to, and it literally took less than a week for the first signs of improvement to show. We are generally skeptics of "nutritional supplement" claims, but anecdotally we can strongly correlate our Boxer's dramatic improvement with starting Dasoquin. Initially the $80 a bag was a larger "wild bet" than we wanted to make (hint - Dasoquin - sell $20 'evaluation bags'), but in hindsight the cost is absolutely negligible compared to the positive impact on our dog's quality of life. Your pet's mileage may certainly vary, but we wanted to share this one dramatic anecdote of Dasoquin really helping the hairiest member of our family. Five well deserved stars. ... show more
