Description

Cystease urinary tract support for cats is a supplement that has been designed to support the bladder lining of your cats. Stress can adversely affect the integrity of the bladder lining of your cat and unfortunately there are many factors that can cause stress in cats. Inter-cat conflict, moving house, new arrivals to the home environment and car travel, to name just a few. Cystease contains optimal amounts of n-acetyl glucosamine and hyaluronic acid which are key components of the gag lining (the lining of the bladder wall) and l-tryptophan which has been proven to reduce stress-related behaviour in cats. Cystease should be taken orally, either given whole or broken open and mixed with food, and it is recommended that it should be used with feliway to achieve the best results.

I use this product daily for my cat with urinary issues, the vet thinks cystitis, not 100% sure, but when she is on this, no issues at all!! I didn't check when it would be here, so I only ordered 2 days early, no we are out, and having a flareup.. soooo next time, I will check the seller, or pay attention to how empty/full the bottle is!     • This was a lifesaver
After 2 trips to the vet, I had pretty much given up on ever having any help for my poor cat. Each visit, the vet would give her an antibiotic shot ...do an ultrasound (no stones) and send us on our way. The result of these vet visits on my cat was a SIGNIFICANT amount of stress and throwing up, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I came across Cystease.     • Product great, but long delivery times
Product is great. Delivery, not so much. Took 29 days to receive. Ordered on the 1st, expected on the 24th, but didn't arrive until the 29th. No reason, no update to the expected delivery date. Ordered 2 and both looked pretty beat up when they arrived. Product shipped from overseas. My cat was without for about 3 weeks and her crystals returned. Now that she is back on this, her symptoms are getting better. I like how this product helps repair the lining of the bladder, which most remedies do not. My cat had so many crystals in her bladder at one point, the vet said it looked like a snow globe with the ultrasound! So you know those crystals were tearing up the lining of her bladder. When she takes this, her fur grows back on her belly, scratches and licks her belly less, and things are more normal in the litter box. So, I highly recommend the product, just don't expect to get it overnight! It may take a month! I wish Amazon old stock this locally (hint! Hint!). Product I would rate as 5 stars, packaging, sipping, and delivery, 2stars. Since this review is for the product, I will rate as 5stars, but just be aware...... ... show more

    • POTENTIAL RESOLVER
I put it on tuna and my normally finicky cats ate the hell out of it - just that far IMPRESSED ME!!!! I ordered this because I have Siamese that are subject to crystal build up in their bladders. Anyway the product came at the same time I was about to call by vet for an appt. - so I put a pill opened and dumped into tuna while keeping more fluids in her system and so far I believe the product may have staved off some huge bills… My cat exhibits symptoms well in advance of any problematics and I believed she was headed for uti with the way she began sleeping away from everything, not being so active and her eyes glassy. Two days later (with this product) and she’s back to normal - a test kit revealed a slightly elevated ph but that was all - reviewing with the vet. I think this helped her A TON. ... show more

Our Boo Boy is a highly strung, anxious cat and had been suffering from recurring stress-related cystitis for the last few months. He would experience a flare-up every 2 and a half weeks or so, and I was getting desperate after spending a fortune at the vet every other week trying to keep him happy and comfortable. I'm so happy to have found this product! After 24 hours, there was no more peeing outside of the litter box, no more straining, no more frequent unsuccessful trips to the litter box, and no more hissing. Boo was noticeably happier, more relaxed, and getting back to being his old cuddly self. Cystease seems to be helping more with his stress levels than the anxiety chews prescribed by the vet! Been using this for about a month now. My kitty has cystitis and she was miserable! We finished the 2 week regimens for her weight. When we decreased within a day she was peeing everywhere again or trying to. Then I started with 2 pills a day for 2 weeks. Turned to drop her down to 1 pill and she started again. I'm gonna give her the 2 pills for a while and try again later. I do have several plugins around the house and we have multiple cats. I think our problem might be 2 of them competing for territory. This was a big help. Now I need to find what dose works for for my girl. ... show more

My cat was going to the litter box 20 times a day and urinating just tiny bits for months. Took her to the vet and they told me she had cystitis and there was not much that could be done for her. I gave this to her mixed in wet food initially and didn’t notice a difference. I then started giving her the capsule whole, twice a day and within 3 days her urination has been almost back to normal. I hope this is the cure that I have been hoping for. Worth a try!!! ... show more

Good product so far. It's only been a week, my girl is feeling better. Going to the litter box much less frequently, more calm etc. It's taking quite a few days to get her pee balls larger though. I'm still on the loading dose, so I don't know what's going to happen when I have to go down to once daily. Terrible customer service though. Not at all helpful and a bit rude. ... show more
