The assembly was just a single step: slide the back into the main body until it clicks. Done. It's incredibly comfy to sit in, has plenty of room, and the gliding motion feels fantastic. The chair is beautiful and comfortable, but it rocked even just a bit forcefully, it tips back and falls over. It makes me nervous to have in the house with toddlers. Still debating whether to keep or return.

My biggest complaint (and why I returned the chair) is the back of the chair hits too low and there is no support for the head and neck.
