Unfortunately my dog is allergic (diarrhea) to this toothpaste which was recommended by the vet. I’m sure other dogs may not have the same problem.

My standard schnauzer's teeth started to get a lot of tartar and plaque after he turned a year old. I tried Oxyfresh Dental Care Solution but it only made it breath smell better. The tartar build up was extending a several millimeters past his gum line and I was worried that he was going to need dental work. I bought this oral hygiene kit and brushed his teeth about twice a week for about a month and am amazed at the results! The build up was a solid, dark brown color but the first few millimeters have disappeared at several brushings! The first picture shows his teeth before it got really bad and then the second picture shows how the tartar build up has decreased after brushing his teeth several times. His breath doesn't really smell like anything either. I'm going to start increasing the teeth brushings now that he's used to the process! ... show more
