I was going in vacation where I would be doing some walking as well as hiking. I considered a comfortable walking/running shoe but ultimately decided to bring a walking shoe for the city streets and these trail runners for the hiking and running. I had to make room in my bag for an extra shoe but im glad I did. These provided much more support and shock for the uneven ground of the hiking trails. I am a 10.5-11 women’s. I ordered 11s to be sure to have room for expansion after running for a bit but they were still ever so slightly snug. These would have been better another half size up. Wish i had ordered an 11.5. I didn’t suffer, even after an 10km hike through some tougher terrain, but I would have preferred more room. Overall great shoe, just go .5-1 size up imo. ... show more

    • Very good running shoe for the price

I just started getting back into running on my hamster wheel (tread mill), when I came across these shoes. After reading some of the reviews I decided to give them a try. First of all, I did order a half size up, I normally wear a 6.5 but I went with the 7 and I am glad that I did; the 7's fit perfectly. They are not tight if you wear a thin running sock with them, otherwise, I found out that a thicker sock tends to be bit too tight for me and caused my toes to scrunch up in a way that caused one of my toes to dig into the other. Other than that, I find they are very comfortable for running. Since I am using them only for running, I don't know how comfortable they would be for every day use; to walk around in. I do think that for the price, they are a good starter shoe for someone who's just beginning to get into running or getting back into it. Only time will tell how long they will last, but they seem to be well made. ... show more

These shoes are a vast improvement over my last pair of Asics that were never really very comfortable and didn't seem to last very long, even though they were more expensive. I went back to this model and am happy I did. One thing that puzzles me is that my feet haven't grown in the last 6 months that I am aware of but I decided to pay attention to the comments about the sizing and ordered a pair in the size I usually wear (8.5 wide) and the next size up, just in case. I had to return the 8.5s because I could not squeeze my feet into them at all. It wasn't that they were too tight, they just flat out didn't fit. The 9s are very comfortable and I am shocked at the huge difference in the 8.5s I just tried and the 8.5s I usually wear. In any case, the 9s fit and are comfortable, just be aware that the sizing is way different now and I recommend to size up for this model. ... show more

Im always afraid to get a shoes on Amazon for me, I have a wide feet and even if the say “wide shoes” in the end of the day they r not wide enough, but this one Ohhhhh boy. Amazing! Not to mention the gel soi. for the first time I got a running shoes that feels like Im not wearing anything! For such a small price like this, If I was you, I wouldn’t think twice to buy these ones. Toe is rounder than Contour 7. Tried them on, seems reasonable. I've only worn Asic Gels since the early 2000s. Took 8days of walking London, Edinburgh and Dublin to mostly get them broken in... these were harder than any other ASICS Gel to break in. I wear a 9.5 to 10 depending on the style... I bought a 9.5... I think a 10 would be too long overall, but the 9.5 feels short. In the puc you can see me raising my big toe, which elevates just before the boarder/rim/trim of the shoe. ... show more

I love the feel of these walking shoes. They are excellent quality and they perform well in the gym or just walking or running. They look and feel great and light weight. I’ve had them for a while so it’s time for a new pair perhaps a new color as well. Thank you

The are great! The sole is soft and cushioned, the fit is perfect and the price was very affordable. The color description when I purchased these was a bit off considering there is no blue in the sneaker, however, I got exactly the product I wanted and purchased through Amazon and for a great price. The color of the sneaker was not described incorrectly by Amazon, rather, was described incorrectly by ASICS, on their site also. Regardless, I got exactly the product I wanted. These sneakers are excellent in every way but the sizing. I ignored other reviewers who said they were small because I’d purchased this brand before and I always size up a half size when buying sneakers. Well, they felt fine until I walked 3 miles wearing them. I developed bruising under my big toes because of the fit. I’ve been wearing the old ones- same size- and they’re just fine.
