  • Amazing Treadmill
Style: Commercial 1250 Treadmill (2023 Model) Color: Black
I am thoroughly impressed with this treadmill. The setup process was a simple and easy and I was able to assemble it all by myself within a couple of hours. The instructions were clear and concise, and all the necessary tools were provided with the treadmill. As an avid runner. currently training for a marathon, I can confidently say that this treadmill has all of the features needed for a great workout. The functionality is top-notch, with a variety of programs to choose from, and the ability to adjust the speed and incline with ease. The display is also large and easy to read, which is great when you're in the middle of a strenuous workout. One of the most important aspects for me is the durability and sturdiness of the treadmill. This treadmill is built to last. The construction is solid and I have not experienced any wobbling or shaking, even when running at a high speed. The cushioning system also helps to reduce the impact on my joints, making it more comfortable for me to run longer distances. Overall, I highly recommend NordicTrack (and this treadmill in particular) to anyone who is looking for a high-quality, durable, and functional piece of exercise equipment. It has already exceeded my expectations and will be a game-changer in my training regime. ... show more

  • NordicTrack has forgotten the importance of the first 5 minutes
Style: Commercial 1250 Treadmill (2023 Model) Color: Black
This is a perfectly fine treadmill. Its belt rotates around its motorized drum assembly adequately to let you run to nowhere. It even climbs to different angles adequately. In NordicTrack's greedy desire to "create new revenue streams" and work to impose subscriptions for everything - because if you're going to spend $1700 on a treadmill, you clearly need some stranger who has no real interest in your person yelling at you to do things on it - they have forgotten the simple reality that your first five minutes unpackaging something create an impression that is almost impossible to overcome if not handled properly. And the more expensive and larger the "thing" is, the more this matters. Every single packaging and design engineer at NordicTrack who worked on this product should be fired for letting it go out the door. Let me help you with some things NordicTrack: First thing to remember - scotch packing tape is not an appropriate securing material. They use about 200 feet of it to try and keep things from moving around in the box and it fails miserably at accomplishing that. Then it makes things exceptionally difficult to unpack in a clean way. It's in the way CONSTANTLY while you're trying to unpack. You can't just cut a few parts of it and get it out of the way. They wrap it at weird angles around all the various pieces and attach it repeatedly to styrofoam. Second thing to remember - styrofoam SUCKS for the customer. And you should care most about what you do to the customer, since if you screw things up with them once, they won't be your customer again. Styrofoam might be great for your shipping costs but the customer experience is that when you're done peeling off the 200 feet of tape, you've got thousands of pieces of static creating and attracted chunks resisting your attempts to sweep them up. And you can't recycle it so you've got to put it in the landfill. Yay. I'm no enviro-worshipper, but come on. It's 2024. Big chunks of styrofoam? REALLY!?!?!?! There are much better ways of packaging with multi-fold and layered carboard that would eliminate all the styrofoam and at least some of the tape. I've bought large tool chests that are much heavier and have more awkward unpacking processes but don't create this horrible experience that leaves you exhausted and having to clean a massive mess before you can even get to assembly. Third - if your engineers have never actually used the tools and the assembly components and been forced to fully (and only) follow the instruction booklet, your customers are going to end up in a situation where holes don't align adequately, plastic pieces don't go on like you expect (or in any sensible way), and screw heads are not accessible for tightening with the tools provided. This happens all over the place on this build. For what I spent, it was an utterly and completely unacceptable experience. This should be a fluid, simple and orderly build -- I've bought $300 treadmills that go together with less stress. Instead it was frustration after frustration as arms and cross-pieces get in the way of various assembly points, the forced use of extremely long twist-ties to fish wires through the frame body (instead of for SEVENTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS there just being proper wires pre-run through the frame with twelve-cent connectors on each end) and awkward angles to hold things while trying to run bolts in that can't be reached except with extra long extensions on socket wrenches demonstrates to me that the design engineers and product managers responsible for this product have never done their job and properly run through the assembly experience, resulting in an absolute hair-pulling experience for the customer. Shameful. I cannot "unrecommend" this brand enough. I am not an incompetent assembly customer. I have built many pieces of furniture, exercise equipment, children's toys, computers, etc. I have tools and know how to use them. This is a bad design on many levels that will make your customer experience make you wish you could get the time you spend building it back in your life. I thought I was buying a real consumer-smart brand. I couldn't have been more wrong. These things aren't fixed with an 800 number or a YouTube video. They are fixed by customer-centric design that focuses on how real people do things, not theoretical AutoCad workflows. For what we spent, the display should have wifi and app loading capability on it -- other brands at less money do. That should have been clearer in the product literature as well. I can accept that I missed it, but when you buy "THE brand" for exercise equipment, shouldn't you be getting things others don't have given the price being paid? It isn't a privilege to get hard sold subscription stupidity after already spending significant money on a piece of equipment. To add insult to injury, knowing this thing comes in a big box and is super heavy, I paid for additional delivery service. They sent someone who had clearly never used a dolly properly in their life and a wisp of a young lady who, though perfectly nice, weighed less than the box and was of no help to her colleague -- my son had to help them just to get it in the house because I wasn't there at the time of delivery. I won't be making that mistake again by buying something like this off Amazon. If you want a treadmill to exercise on, go to your local sporting goods store and buy something that will pay the salary of a local store employee. Buy anything but this brand and you're likely to have a superior customer experience that won't make you grind your teeth every time you step onto the platform to run. I really wish at times Amazon had a "zero stars" rating capability. ... show more

  • An Exceptional Investment for Fitness Enthusiasts
Style: Commercial 1250 Treadmill (2023 Model) Color: Black
The Nordictrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill is a remarkable piece of fitness equipment that combines ease of assembly, innovative IFIT features, and a comfortable screen size. This review will delve into these key aspects and highlight more notable features that make it a standout choice for fitness enthusiasts. Assembly Experience: One of the standout aspects of the Nordictrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill is its ease of assembly. The provided instructions are clear and comprehensive, making the process straightforward. However, it is worth noting that due to its sturdiness and size, having a second person to assist with the assembly is highly recommended. Also, when using BILT (the app for assembly instructions), you could follow the instructions for ‘Commercial 1750 (NTL14122.9)’, which is an almost identical assembly. This is because Nordictrack hasn’t included yet the Commercial 1250, which is a newer model in the BILT app. Impressive IFIT Features: The inclusion of IFIT features truly sets the Nordictrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill apart from its competitors. The user-friendly interface and vast array of workout programs allow users to experience a variety of exhilarating and challenging fitness routines. Additionally, the ability to access interactive workouts and personalized training sessions through IFIT subscriptions adds tremendous value to this treadmill. Comfortable Screen Size: Equipped with a generous screen size, the Nordictrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill provides an immersive experience. The screen creates an engaging atmosphere that motivates users to push themselves further, enhancing the overall fitness journey. Additional Key Features: 1. Exceptional Build Quality: The Nordictrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill boasts a sturdy and durable construction, guaranteeing long-lasting performance even under intense workouts. 2. Ample Running Space: With its spacious running deck, users have the freedom to stride confidently, making each workout comfortable and accommodating. 3. Powerful Motor: The treadmill is equipped with a powerful motor that delivers smooth and consistent performance, allowing for seamless transition between speeds and inclines. 4. Interactive Personal Training: The Nordictrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill offers interactive personal training sessions led by professional trainers, making it feel like having a personal coach right at home. 5. Space-Saving Design: Despite its robust build, this treadmill features a space-saving design that can be easily folded when not in use. ... show more
