This is the perfect backyard dog pool. Easy to clean, sturdy, and easy to fold up. We have used this over 5 times in the last month. I'm pretty sure it will hold up all year if not longer. Great quality. This is the large pool, perfect for our Golden Retriever to get wet and cool down.

We felt we were just going to take a chance on this given the low price. We wouldn't have been surprised if it was lower quality and not particularly sturdy. We were therefore pleasantly surprised when we unpacked it and filled it half way. It's quite strong and the liner easily withstands our dogs claws. It was great fun to play with them in it. A totally new experience for them. I have not been able to fold it back into the same small size as the package we received. But it's still pretty easy to fold back down small again so we're not fussed about that. We can highly recommend this as a great way to cool down (or bathe) a couple of dogs. Ours are medium sized (75 and 70 pounds respectively) and they fit just fine in the pool with one of us "supervising"! Kind of hard to go wrong with this one. Give it a try. ... show more

After an inflatable one was punctured by wild animals at night, we decided to get this one for the kiddo. It lasted most of the summer and the tight cover (sold separately) was great from keeping things out of it…plus, the generic color was appealing to us in a household overtaken by kid stuff…until last week when raccoons finally figured out how to get in puncturing the sides and emptying the pool. We originally patched the holes with shoe glue but they came back and completely destroyed the pool a few days later. I wish I had seen this or had a video, I’m sure it was hilarious. We are getting another one because they are big, pretty sturdy, and easy to fold into a pretty small package for storing but will make sure to empty it every day and put it away because they are definetly not raccoon proof. I’m not really sure how a dog also wouldn’t puncture this pool but I did not see what the raccoons did or how big their claws were, just their muddy footprints. ... show more

Might have to come back at the end of the season to see how it does overall, BUT so far I’m thrilled! Every spring for the last 8 years I’ve bought two large plastic pools for my Aussies, this year those plastic pools have more then doubled in cost (where I live) $40 for two large plastic pools or $46 for something new. I decided to go with this and see how it goes, so far I feel it’s rather safe for children and they can put ALL their toys in it, while having the dog in there and still have tons of room to play. I ended up getting the cover as well, and that could handle my large goat and baby goat walking on it, trying to find the water. My aussies scratched in the bottom to get a ball and so far no holes, no problems at all. So easy to clean, it’s not slippery, dried fast (I live in the desert so not sure that says much). Can roll it up and take it everywhere. I’m really loving it so far! I’d definitely recommend. ... show more

I set this pool up about 3 weeks ago for my dogs. I have a 1 year old GSP and a 5 year old staffy mix. They both have regular nail trims but somehow they managed to rip the pool bottom. I'm so disappointed.
