  • Great looking iSUP - Great stability for beginners
Lens Color: Artistic Life
This is a really nice inflatable SUP board. It is a Great looking iSUP - Great stability for beginners. 10'5"' long and 32" wide and 6" thick which is standard for iSUPs in this price range. It handles great with 3 fins and is very stable. I am 5'4" 150lbs, hubby is 6' 200lbs and it held both of us just fine - stable & easy maintain balance. The vinyl it is made out of is thick and supple, easy to roll and does not get stiff corners that may wear out while it is stored. It is really compact when rolled up and pretty lightweight. I really like the graphics and bright colors of this board - easy to spot when out on the water. It comes with a two piece lightweight aluminum paddle that has a blue fin to match the board which is fun. The paddle pole is very light with a plastic paddle which I really like because I don't have to worry about using it to push of rocks and the shore like with my fiberglass one. The deck on the board covers 75% and is a very cushy smooth mat with a light diamond pattern for traction. I really like that the mat is mostly smooth - doesn't give me weird impressions on my skin when I lay out on the board (not a big deal but I really appreciated this feature). There is a nice size bungee set on the bow which is able to secure a bunch of stuff - I generally have a small cooler, life vest, dry pack, fins and 32oz water bottle for day lake trips and it all stays put. We inflated it to the recommended 15psi and it was solid and steady and held air for 4 days. It took 8min to fill up this board. I have multiple electric SUP pumps & I highly suggest the investment. I hate manual pumps because by the time I'm done pumping the board my arms are worn out and my paddle isn't as enjoyable. Deflating the board was easy and it rolled up neatly and fit into the really nice quality carry bag. The kit included a cinch strap which was handy to get it rolled up tight and small. The bag is a backpack style that fits the board and all the gear with room for my electric pump, large towel and life vests in the main compartment. We got this board for our kids (10 & 12 yo girls) and like it for them - It is a bit long for them but it steers well and responds quickly to direction changes and is very stable. It is light weight and compact when rolled up which is great for hauling it around. In the iSUP world the price range is huge and they all are different in little ways. I am an experienced SUPer and we have 4 inflatable SUP boards (iSUP) in our family and two fiberglass boards. We live by the beach in So Cal and do a lot of traveling to lakes in CA, NV & AZ. We love iSUPs for their portability, lightness and durability vs. our fiberglass boards. I prefer my iSUP vs. my fiberglass because it is more stable, lighter, more comfortable for long paddles and I don't have to worry about my kids (11 & 9yo) getting hurt on them or banging into boats or each other. They are great in a marina or enclosed bay but not really for open ocean or rough/windy conditions. If you are going to use your board a lot (more than 1x a month) it is totally worth it to invest in a electric SUP pump. This one I got on amazon & it is a self powered battery, car or house powered. It blows up 2 boards on one charge making it possible to go to remote lakes/shorelines and have a fun paddle with out the hard work of pumping the board. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091SG13MF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... show more

  • Fun
Lens Color: Summer Breeze
This kit brings everything you need for a fun time on the water. The board is constructed with good materials and has level sides and no warping. At 13 psi and me at 155 pounds, the board feels pretty sturdy and no above average deformation. I like that it has 4 rings in the middle to install a kayak seat if you want to sit down comfortably. It also has a handle in the rear (which other boards don't usually have), which I haven't found much use for but it comes in handy when you want to tow someone, they can just stick the handle of their paddle in there and hang on! Besides the center fin, it has 2 additional side fins which help the board track better. The colors are so cool and I've already gotten a few compliments on the board. The manual pump seems durable, but mine came with the gauge backwards so it's a bit hard to read. The 3 piece paddle is easy to assemble, but the adjustment clip is positioned awkwardly so that the hand that usually grabs the shaft is grabbing onto the clip, which isn't ideal. The backpack is lower quality than even some lower priced inflatable SUP's. My friend's board cost less and her bag is sturdier with a padded handle and more padded and comfortable backpack straps. The instructions show the positioning of the T handle of the paddle backwards. It most definitely shouldn't go that way, the flat part should go facing the palm of your hand and your fingers on the curved side. The board has a super strong glue smell which hasn't worn off, even after a few days of airing it out. Also, on the first use, the fin lock broke (see pic). Overall, I give the kit 4 stars. 5 stars to the board and 3 to the accessories. ... show more

  • compared to a solid board
Lens Color: Summer Breeze
We have a couple of solid boards we keep at a lake that I use frequently and have never used an inflatable, so I will compare this to those. It certainly is easier to store and weighs less than half as much as our others, so much easier to transport/carry.Everything fits easily into the included storage/backpack. Pumping it up takes some minutes. The instructions state the pump won't doesn't start reading until you get to several lbs of pressure which is weird - I almost quit adding air when it was getting pretty hard but nothing was registering. Then at about 8-9 lbs the gauge kicked in. I pumped it to 13 lbs and after three days it was still at that pressure. It handles a little differently that our solid ones. it is quite a bit more tipsy, probably due to being thicker, sitting higher in the water, and weighing less. It responds to paddle strokes quicker, but doesn't glide as much, probably due to the same things. It is definitely more affected by wind. So overall, it is not quite as nice a s paddling a solid board, but if storage/transport are part of your paddling experience it provides significant advantages there. ... show more

  • Pretty good for an inflatable SUP
Lens Color: Artistic Life
This comes with everything you need and takes up so much less space than a regular SUP that it's not even funny if you've ever struggled with getting a full-size board to and from the lake. There are tradeoffs in stability but this worked better than I had expected. I did find traction a bit lacking and knocked off a star because of that - when the top gets wet it's a fair amount more slippery than a regular board. The only thing missing for a complete package would be a life vest, but most people will already have a few of those, and if you plan to have kids around this, the life vests are a must. ... show more
