Over the years I keep buying like cheap 30$ blenders from WalMart to make smoothies in, as an easy way to eat more fruits and vegetables, but I get tired of those because they make more of what I like to call "chunkies". Kind of hard to hide broccoli in a fruit smoothie when you all of a sudden start chewing on a broccoli stem. I was going to get Vitamix, but they are just too expensive for me to justify at this point in my life. I talked to a couple of different people and they suggested the Ninja brand. Looked into them and picked this one, mostly cause of the IQ setting and the Smoothie button, because I don't want to have to sit there and pulse and guess, I just want a smoothie! Settled on this model and I'm so glad I got it. It's not that expensive but it works amazingly! I want to try some of the other things too like soups and stuff, probably look into that more in the winter. Also I like that it's really easy to clean, that was another issue with cheaper blenders. You have to like take so much apart on cheap ones to make sure you clean it all and let it dry. With this blender it takes me less than 10 seconds to clean it out, and worse case if I wanted to I can put all the parts into the dishwasher. ... show more

This is an amazing high speed blender! I just love it! It is very strong and makes easy work of ice cubes, smoothies, and has preset menu. It must be on a countertop to grip because it's so strong. Then I put hot water a little soap and blend it for "self-cleaning". It is too tall for my dishwasher, but it comes out great with a fast rinse. People are always talking about their Vitamix. In the old days, maybe, but this one is far superior to the one Vitamix I bought at Costco that lasted a week. I got my money back and didn't know what to do. I saw a Ninja at a friend's house and I decided to try it. It's on sale for84.00 dollars...buy two!!! Amazing product! ... show more

This blender is spectacular. It’s lighter than the glass one I used to have. So it’s not that heavy for my arthritis problems. Also has doble level of blades, that is amazing because it cuts the fruit that is on the top of the vase. I like that you can take the blades off so it’s so easy to clean out. I really liked this blender a lot. It makes very smooth smoothies and is quick. What I didnt like it that the bottom that drives the blade broke after only about 18 months of use. Replacing this part is just a bout as much as a new one.

I’m coming from one of those old push-down blenders, so I absolutely love the convenience of just pressing a button to make a smoothie with the Ninja BN751. The Auto-IQ programs are a game-changer. It’s so easy to use, and I love that I can walk away while it blends everything perfectly. However, I have to say, this thing is loud—like, really loud. It blends like a beast, but you’ll definitely want to make sure no one’s sleeping when you use it. That aside, the performance is fantastic, and it crushes ice and frozen fruits with ease.
